Damn. Those dates don't do much for the US fans. I'd love to catch this.

Cool Chris

Wow a Seattle date! I am mildly intrigued (but will probably pass). Wish it wasn't one of the first shows. This is a show I'd be curious to know more about before buying tickets.
Maybe the grass is greener on the other side because you're not over there fucking it up.

I might have traveled down to London for this, but the tickets are way too expensive - £55 (around $77).
Whoaaaahh, ohhh, ohhhhh. Whoaaaahh, ohhhhh, ohhhhhh. Waaah, ahhh, haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaowwwwww

The Walrus

Aww... I was so hoping for at least a Chicago date but no dice. Would love to see this...

Too much for just keyboardist. Not gonna spend almost 60€ to this.

Would have loved to take my dad to this. Hopefully he comes through NC one day!

ytserush

Would have loved to go to this.  But nothing in the New York- Philly area it seems.

i commented on a post a while back when the first shows were announced, he made it sound like an LA show would be happening, but i would have guessed an announcement wouldn't have happened until all shows were confirmed, so maybe not?

Got a ticket to the London show. yes, it's expensive, but it's a one-off event in a very intimate venue, so what the hey.

He should have called it "To Rock And Bach" though.

Cool Chris

Come out to the tour and see why Jordan wants to be your 'Bach Door Man.'

So would I!  I'm really disappointed that he is not coming.  Would have jumped at the chance to see him.

Now I'm just waiting for DS to start trash-tweeting this tour while simultaneously promoting his own tour called "From Pop to Prog to Poop" while promoting all of his original Android apps such as PoopShred.

He'll also be wearing a witch hat at some point during his show... it's pointy like a wizard hat but that's as close as it gets.  No matter how much he wants his witch hat to look just like a wizard hat it never will.

Sounds like a scheme to get paid for a vacation. Clever Rudess.

With apologies for the delay in posting this:

The London show was pretty fantastic. St Pancras New Church is a lovely venue for this sort of thing. Traditional church layout, audience seated in the pews, grand piano on the chancel. Jordan treated us to an evening of virtuoso playing - we all know this guy is an amazing keyboard player, but I'd never realised what a loss to the classical music world he was. We were treated to a few classical pieces, some old standards, some prog classics and even some DT tunes, all tied together with Jordan talking us through his life history and explaining why each piece was important to him and what it represented about his life.

I've met Jordan at M&Gs, and he's always come across as being quite guarded, but this was another side of him, really open and giving of himself. I don't really know that much about him, and it was a revelation hearing him talking about his time at Juliard, and his stint in a Kiss tribute act! And the cherry on the cake was Marjana from iamthemorning joining him for a version of Bowie's Space Oddity!

This was a fantastic, intimate evening with a world class musician, and I think everyone there came away feeling like Jordan was their best mate. The church does need to provide a few portaloos for this sort of event, though...

I saw him in Stockholm yesterday and I can only echo the above poster. It was a really great evening and he's actually a very natural story teller. Got to speak to him afterwards and his wife who was super nice. My phone wouldn't take a pic correctly so he took it from me and did a selfie which turned out great. Funny guy :)
