Who would you choose to co-produce the next DT album?

I have no idea why people hate ADTOE's mix. That and Octavarium are my two favourite productions for a DT album.

The drums are too low in the mix.
The drums are dry and completely raw.
The kick drum is a wimpy clicky noise.
The snare drum is also weak with no depth.
The guitars are muddy and overwhelm the mix with bass.
It sounds like a premix recording to me, like they just recorded it and that was it. I wouldn't even qualify it as production. :P
But at least that also extended to mastering, so it doesn't sound over-compressed. I guess that's something. They must have been saving it up for DT12.

I'm sticking with Kevin Shirley.

I'd love to have him back again. Besides FII, what he did on Metropolis 2 was great as well.

Also, the way James' vocals were recorded. Idk if it bothers other people, but they bother me.

And let's not forget Six Degrees, one of the finest sounding DT albums.
