For those who have heard the album (I got my copy today), there's something that really bothers me:

**** AGAIN, HUGE SPOILER ALERT, DO NOT READ IF YOU'RE WISHING TO AVOID THESE ****

The scene depicts the moment after Arhys' death. Yet in the lyrics book it says the the following part is sang by Arhys:

"Don't hold your breath
The night's still young
Confront your death
Like father, like son"

Sounds like it's sang by Daryus rather than by Arhys.

Could it be a simple printing mistake or have I missed something?

pcs90

Wow, really? That has to be a printing mistake...that does not make sense at all.

RoadTrain_of Thought

I don't know. I thought it was Daryus too. But the voice IS different between that and the next part.

Yeah, but:

1) Arhys is supposed to be dead at this point.
2) Why would he threaten Xander?
3) The following part makes it pretty clear that it's Daryus talking (the part about "The Chosen One" walking towards him).

Can't you wait until tomorrow?

I got my copy legally, if that's what your suggesting.
The local store I bought it from just got it one day earlier.

RoadTrain_of Thought

Aaah yes. I didn't notice that they have put Arhys for all lines. Then its a mistake 100%.

I've noticed a couple other strange things/mistake in the notes too. Did they rush through it?

The only other mistake I've noticed was a minor one, in which it says "Faith" instead of "Faythe" (when referring to the character, of course).

Pragmaticcircus

It's about time for the story discussion thread now?

Oh, ignore me. I was thinking of wrong things. Carry on.

I have seen the same thing and I also think it's a mistake, albeit a printing mistake. Otherwise, it wouldn't make sense.

Apparently some people have a booklet that says Daryus did in fact sing those lines...has to be a misprint.

One other thing I'm wondering, since it's related...what happens to Daryus anyway? After this song he has no more lines unless I missed them. Is he the scream at the end of MLF?

No that's Gabriel shouting in anguish.

pcs90

That's what I thought from the lyrics but had to check. Daryus just kind of disappears then I guess lol

Not sure if he has any more lines, but pretty sure Nafaryus is speaking to him in the title track, telling him off but forgiving him for his mistakes.

My booklet says Arhys, but when I heard it, I just took it as a clear misprint. Has to be Daryus.

He has no more speaking lines, but after mistakingly attacking Faythe, i'd hazard a guess that he did the bolt. The last we hear in the title track, Arabelle says:

My Prince, My Son,
You got lost along the way,
In light of this new burden that you face,
You are forgiven on this day.

So, disappointed in him no doubt, but ultimately forgiven.

Even though Nafaryus is depicted as a pretty cold-blooded ruler, I kind of like how the Empire have that real sense of family. It's a neat touch in the story.

The Astonishing part 2: The Amazing?

No, man, this one's gonna be written by James LaBrie and it will be called "The Phenomening".

BlobVanDam

Reading through, it has to be Daryus, because it's setting up what he does next. I have a copy of the lyrics from earlier than the booklet, and it also says Arhys, so I think this mistake must trace far back, and not only at the booklet stage.
