I won't. I got tix to both the shows here in Sweden so I'm going to try something new and actually hold off until I go see the first of the two shows (which I'll attend by myself). I haven't heard a note from the new album and the prospect of hearing a new album, especially one with this length in concert from beginning to end for the first time is unique enough that I'm willing to hold off the three extra weeks

Without a doubt I can say that I would definitely listen to it. Whether I hear it tomorrow or on the 29th takes absolutely nothing away from the experience for me. If anything, hearing it earlier than most people would feel cooler.

If it had leaked a couple of weeks ago, I might have said "sure", given it a fair listen, and then waited for my copy to come in, but I think we're at the point now where waiting two more weeks isn't going to kill me.

This is always the worst time pre-album release. Leaking shows an utter disrespect for the band and their art that they have taken years to create. Why can't people wait for release day? We've made it this far down the line; 12 days is nothing really.

Typically, I would (and have since 8VM), but because of the nature of the album, being a 2-CD concept album, I'd rather wait to get my physical copy, rip the CDs to my computer, play it on my iPod or phone, and read along with the lyric booklet as I listen to the 2+ hour album. Without the lyrics, I may miss something important or meaningful in the songs, or not realize there are connections/reprises between certain songs or sections of songs. And there may be information that I miss ABOUT the songs, like if there are groups of songs that go together, and what their title and/or meaning is (like on SFAM, where 6 tracks make up 3 scenes, each with 2 tracks each- just hearing the music, you don't really get that idea unless you have the physical product in front of you).

I'm just hoping my CD version gets here close to release date so I can listen to it ASAP! I can't wait to receive that deluxe box set though!

I don't feel there's much need. With less than two weeks away, I'm more than happy to wait until I have the cd, booklet, lyrics etc in my hand, and a spare couple of hours to sit back and digest it all with my good headphones. My experience with JB HiFi is that they usually have it on shelf the night before, or will get it out back for you if it's there, so could even have an extra day less wait time.

In albums gone past I may have - but I think this one is an entirely different beast altogether. One thing I think has been great about the marketing for this album, is that because of the character releases etc, it's allowed me at least some nice little bits of regular info, without giving too much away. A song and a very short snippet vid is plenty for me along with the map, characters etc.

I also remember the days I wasn't online and got SFAM in my hands for the first time. Having the music, lyric booklet, images all there just added to my listening experience. So 10 days or so is more than fine a wait to experience the album just how I want to.
