My question...
Did they tell Systematic Chaos and ADTOE to go fuck themselves and played The Count of Tuscany at Tuscany?

It would have been great. It didn't happen, though. There have been two shows in Tuscany since the song was released, I attended both and neither featured TCOT. Not that I was expecting a different outcome, that's the knack with fixed setlists! They did play the national anthem yesterday, though!

I hate interrupting this poignant Steven Wilson discussion, but the first bootleg of the tour has emerged! It's a good quality recording of the second show of the tour in Katowice, held on June 27th. I uploaded it on my onedrive folder for those who don't have an account on dimeadozen.org!

Here's the link, grab freely if you are interested!

Thanks, wasteland! I'm little obsessed to hear MM playing MP era songs live that MM didn't play the tours before - at least in an "understandable" quality  :D Cool boot!

Awesome. Wish it was the whole song.

Bruins hat! :metal
Quote from: wkiml on June 08, 2012, 09:06:35 AMwould have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Quote from: Stadler on February 08, 2025, 12:49:43 PMI wouldn't argue this.

I like these summer tours. Yes, the setlist is usually shorter, but the venues are usually much more fascinating.

This is yesterday's in Pistoia

And this is where they'll play tonight in Marseille!

I can see myself in the first picture!!!! :metal
In the little tribune under the steeple, on the far left of the picture, in the first row seated there's a girl with a green dress: I am the guy with raising arms (black t shirt) on her left (i.e. On the right of the picture ::) ).
For the record I don't know who she was.
For the second picture, this is Arles indeed not Marseille (not very far but awesome location anyway).

Sweet clip! That's some great playing, the fill at 1:19 is sick!

Also, I'd be totally satisfied if he used that snare drum on the new album, as long as they don't mess with the sound too much. Its nice and tight, decent pitch, I'd be down with that.

That second one reminds me of Nimes - where Metallica filmed their "Francais Pour Une Nuit " DVD.

Overplayed to hell, but, as always, amazing!

Nice performance, MM is adding some of his own touches to that song now, sounds cool! And as always, JP sounds killer.
