It does exist actually,  but it has a lot of other stuff missing as well; The "Greatest Hit (...And 21 Other Pretty Cool Songs)" version of Home is about 5-6 minutes, missing tons of stuff, but it has no moaning.

Besides that, I can only assume (cannot remember correctly for each one) that most live versions either do not have them, or they're inaudible.

Lynxo

Whenever I listen to that version, I do those moans myself.

Well, yeah.

They have done them live, and I have heard them.

Yeah. I only came in here to post this pun.

Mmmmm well you could always buy all the separate tracks from Jammit (i think they are all available) and mix your own version of the song.
I'd imagine that those tracks don't have the moans included.
It's not the easiest option but it's something.

Actually, 46&2 = 2

At least, in the computer world.

out of the crapton of songs i bought there, this was unfortunately not one of them.

usually these extra samples are left in the "backing track" no matter which instrument you buy (unlike "Voices," which has them in the lead vocal track... except the "this is not reality" one, for some reason!) so the only way to clearly remove them would be to buy all the instruments and mix them down on your own, sans backing track.

also, a note for anyone who does this: Jammit have compressed the tracks to make things easier to hear in their app, so a lot of the natural dynamics in the song structure are minimized – you should hear how squished poor "Trial of Tears" gets :(

I don't mind the moaning when I'm listening to the album on headphones. But I can't play it on speakers at work or when my kids or their friends are around... I imagine the subsequent awkward conversation being something like:

"Why are you listening to porn in public/while my 10 year old is at your place? What's wrong with you?"

"No no, it's not porn. It's part of a progressive metal concept album. See, one of the characters is addicted to gambling and drugs, so his girlfriend cheats on him with his brother and... wait, don't leave. I haven't finished explaining the nuances of the story."

Anyone have the same experience with Bon Jovi's Social Disease?  I am still conscious of turning it down at the start  :lol

I think one of my friends asked, "Is this Rammstein?"  :lol

If you find the isolated track with JUST the moaning, could you let me know?

I wonder how many stock moaning girl soundbites they went through before they found that one.

That being said, if it is indeed stock material, (which it probably is, since the screams in Finally Free were stock), then it's probably out there.

I'd rather listen to the first 15 seconds of this!

Video is not available but I know what you mean anyway.  I haven't listened to Kings of Metal in years but I do love it.  That is possibly the worst song on it but I never skipped it because it's so awesomely politically incorrect  :lol

Definitely not the best song on the CD.  I only listened to it for a couple of minutes and then go blast Hail and Kill.

H&K is one of my fave Manowar tracks. End of off topic.

El Barto

I think John Myung should do the moaning whenever they play it live.

Why wouldn't someone want to hear the full song? Is it a discomfort with sex?

Listening to Home in a car full of kids or even your parents would make for a really awkward moment.

This happened to me a little over a year ago. I don't know if my dad noticed it or not, but it was still a tense moment.

SystematicThought

I think when I played the CD with my Dad, he didn't quite understand the concept of a concept album or what the album was about, so I think he was really confused

Maybe they want to hear the instruments playing the music without being distracted. Even if it's just a simple build like in Home, it's cool to hear it without the samples distracting from the music.

hefdaddy42

I've listened to it in the car with my kids and never had any problem.

Just tell you're kids the people on the song are just rock climbing or something.

hefdaddy42

Well, I just told them there were people having sex in the background, so it wasn't an issue.
