Not sure if this has been posted but here is a video of Rudess talking about his seaboard and making music.  He starts at about 3:40 in.

I actually really enjoyed this. I hope JR can begin to use the Seaboard live soon, I would kill to see that thing live!

I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure he already does.

Yeah, in Enigma Machine for instance, after the first bass break.

Ohh... I guess he only pulled it out later in the tour? I don't remember seeing it in Toronto.

aprilethereal

I saw them in January and I remember him using the Seaboard in Scarred.

GasparXR

I saw him use the Continuum for that. Maybe that's what you're thinking of?

At 4:36, JR using the Seaboard: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kA02yFPMq28

I was standing in about the fifth row in front of JM when I saw them, so I could see JR pretty well, and he definitely didn't use the continuum for that part. The video confirms that (it's not the same show of course, but I doubt JR would change instruments within 5 days) :)

Oh, I thought that was the lap steel the entire time because I couldn't see it properly. :P

Nice video!

ROLI has also been posting videos on its Youtube page of a demo show that JR did with two other seaboard players (and with Ray Hearne from Haken on drums) at Abbey Road studios. They're pretty damn cool.

Has JR toured with a lap steel since Score?
Not trying to be a dick, just curious. Did anything else go under the continuum since then? I don't remember at all.

I remember back in 5th-6th grade. My band director was a chapman stick player and into the underground scene. He taught me about JR's harpejji and he was awaiting JR using it.
