I think I'd go with Awake/TOT/BL&SL I mean how much more kickass can you get?

But I do quite like the FII/8vm/DT12 combo. It's got a totally awesome vibe to it. But I can't vote that one cause for all I know that Octavarium was supposed to be A Dramatic Turn of Events.

But based on having an album from each period, I assume ADTOE events was supposed to be in the first option with Scenes and WDADU?

I started voting for the first one...but now that I look at it again, the pattern doesn't make any sense.

IAW - SDOIT - BCSL
Awake - TOT - ADTOE
FII - 8V - DT12

Since we seem to be doing endless polls based on arranging albums in seemingly random orders, I figured I'd do one too!

Every 4th album, chronologically by release date. What it be?

Shouldn't the choices be:
WDADU - SFAM - SC
IAW - SDOIT - BC&SL
Awake - TOT - ADTOE
FII - 8VM - DT12

If these are the REAL choices, then I'd go with Option 2. IAW and SDOIT are two of my Top 5 DT albums, and BC&SL has some great stuff on it too. The third option comes close while the other two would tie for last.

Also, saying that your method of grouping albums is "random" when you state in the next line "Every 4th album" is contradictory. If there's a determining method of why you grouped them together, it really isn't random in the literal sense.

That, but more because of consistent goodness. If I were to go with the first option, I would have to deal with a good portion of WDADU and SC that I don't like. With the third option, well it's good too, but I don't like ToT that much and there are a couple of songs on Awake (Lie/Mirror) that I don't like very much. The last option is pretty great too, but I don't like most of FII.

Awake, ADTOE and TOT - my #1, #3 and #7, respectively.

My favorite is SFAM, but that's squished in between my least favorite and SC, which I really like but nowhere near as much as Scenes so I can't vote for just the one album.

I&W and SDOIT are in my top 5 and I like BC&SL a good amount so that's a high contender.

I love Awake, ToT and ADToE so that's another high contender.

FII is my second least favorite and 8VM is mid tier in the album rankings for me save the song, and I love DT12, but again won't vote for one album.

Vote went to I&W-SDOIT-BC&SL because the first 2 are stronger than Awake, ToT and ADToE.

Awake, TOT, ADTOE is an easy choice for me - my #6, #2 and #3 albums respectively.

All the other choices feature a good/great album, an average album and a poor album.

This was a tough choice, considering SDOIT is my favorite album, but I voted Awake, TOT and ADTOE.

I would have voted I&W, SDOIT, and BCASL, but I think TOT is considerably stronger than black Clouds. Considering all of those albums, I think Awake, TOT, and ADTOE is the only choice I don't see a weak spot in.
