I'm thinking about attending both Dusseldorf and Amsterdam. I haven't caught more than one show per tour in the past. The thing though is, I am a student in the Netherlands and haven't met anyone into DT or prog metal in general in the few months I've been here. So it would be cool to meet someone from the forum and share the experience :metal

I will visit both Amsterdam and Dusseldorf.
Where are you located?

eosforum

Right in the middle! I live in Enschede (close to the borders).

Thomas Pasieka

I was born in Duesseldorf but unfortunately I am about 6000 miles away now otherwise I would going! My sisters may in fact go. The Mitsubishi Electric Halle is about 1 mile away from my old home where I grew up!

Tim van Duijn

I would like to go, visiting Belgium, Amsterdam and would like to go to this one as well. Problem is i dont have a car and looking for someone to go with. I live in Katwijk (South of Holland), anyone wants to take me with him? I am not a serial killer and will not murder you.

So who wants to arrange a meet-up? I think I'll be there at about 7 since the gates open at 6:30 and the show won't start before 8.

I remember a great show they made in Düsseldorf two years ago @ ADTOE tour. Seems there are some reasons why they always choose this hall. Can't be with you guys this time, already visited two shows, but enjoy it  :metal

If anyone still needs one more ticket for this concert, I posted it in the sticky ticket thread above. Thanks!

Great concert! Best version of scarred I have heard so far on this tour. Band did enjoy themselves, had a great time.

No problems! Enjoy the shows. I won't be attending any Dream Theater shows anymore (this tour). So this is it :).

Was there yesterday together with my son. Awesome  awesome experience. Yesterday was my best DT experience so far. Thanks so much to all the guys in Dream Theater and their crew. They're the best!

Jordan gave my son a tour on the stage during soundcheck and the way all the guys reacted on my son (only 7 years old) was so great. He saw the first hour of the show from Steve's (lighting guy) riser so he could see all that was happening. :-)

Well what can I say.....Dusseldorf was the thirth and final show for me this leg of the tour and what a night.
The first show for me was Belgium, I was only  five meters away from Petrucci and didn't know to cry of to laugh.....what an experience watching this guitar god play from so close. It was my 19th show ( first show was Awake tour 94 Utrecht Holland) but never been this close.

Second show was Holland, Heineken music hall, watched the show from the balcony and totaly went nuts...what a sound and performance!

Dusseldorf was something else.......again great show but thanks to my DT friend Stephan Van Baalen ( who's doing art work for JR) we've got to meet the band after the show.......
What a night to end these nine hours of prog magic and awesomeness!

Not only are they the best band around but very kind guys.......i'm still in seventh heaven!

Manginius missing....he didn't show up, but i understand the man....3 hours of insane drumming....who wants to sign and pose for Dtidiots... :P
