Celebrating the 5th anniversary of BC&SL by playing The Shattered Fortress would be the biggest anticlimax ever :-X

Or maybe A Mind Beside Itself in its entirety.   :tup

Personally, I would be bored to death if they took up such a big portion of the set with those three songs.

Those tracks have been pretty much covered over the last couple of tours.

Yeah, although not together. That being said, if they were to choose 3 songs from Awake to pay tribute, I would pick:

The Mirror
Space-Dye Vest (if not, Lie continued from TM)
Scarred

Exactly.  Hearing the three-piece as one would be excellent.  They don't have to play it every night but it deserves a spot if they indeed pay homage to Awake on this tour.

I love Space-Dye Vest, its my 2nd favorite DT song ever, but I'm not sure it would work so well as a live song. I listened to that one live recording of it and it didn't do anything for me. I think I'd prefer other Awake songs to be in the tour- like the Mirror, Voices, and Scarred.

I think the human orchestra could handle it.   ;)

I may not be remembering correctly, but on the live chat session I think JP commented on SDV and a couple of other songs that were asked about.  I believe he said it was in a group of songs that they had played that fell flat and they did not get the audience response they look for.

I may be wrong, but if that was the case when originally played, I bet the response would be totally different now.

20th anniversary of awake & 15th Anniversary of Scenes ?

Nope, 10th for Train of Thought.  ;D
I thought THIS was the 10th for TOT.  Not next year, when they will be touring.

Besides, it seems like they've played that to death, minus a couple of songs.

Yeah I know, but since there was no tour this year . . . I was only joking anyway. The only one I'd be interested in is ITNOG.

No, he was talking about Eve and Anna Lee.  As much as I'd like to see Anna Lee, I agree with him.  I don't think they'd get much crowd response.
