Funny thing is wen I go food shopping Sunday, I'll buy something I don't have to cook on Monday so I can sit down and listen to the stream.  45 years old and still acting like a teen every time a net DT album comes out.

I might actually skip this.  Not sure yet.  I sort of have a ritual for listening to a new album for the first time, and it wouldn't be possible with an online stream.  We'll see.

I just got off the phone with Jordan. I asked him if it was going to stream on soundcloud or iTunes. He told me he didn't know the specifics, but he's heard Rolling Stone was going to stream it.

When ADTOE was streaming on the Roadrunner site, I wasn't able to listen because the traffic made it impossible.  If the full album streams on a site with more resources, though (as was the case with TEI and AFTR), like Rolling Stone or something, then we won't have to worry about that.

But Rolling Stone hates DT.

No, just don't check the DT side I think I'll try to stay away from the threads related to the album until I've heard it.

I have a Mazda RX8 with Bose surround sound.  Unfortunately the engine died on me last week so I'm stuck with my phone speaker at the moment as my home sound system is also dead.

I've decided I'm definitely waiting for the 24th. This is the first time since I got seriously into music that I await a new studio release from a band that is among my favorites, and I was really building up to the experience of heading to the store to buy the CD and then coming home and listening to the whole thing in good quality while looking at the booklet. Which means I'll probably be reading little of the album-related threads for like a week, since I won't have heard the album yet obviously.

So RoeDent you are probably right because I fully expect the stream to start at 10am EDT and not 10am EST.

There's no way I'll be able to resist listening to the album tomorrow. I'm devoting a set block of time for this very occasion and I'll be damned if anyone's gonna get in my way.

At this point I say I don't know whether I'll listen to the album tomorrow or not, but I have a gut feeling I will listen to it. Unless people say in here that the stream quality is bad, then I'll wait until the 24th.
