House Petrucci.
Sigil: A Giant Bearded Bear with a Guitar.
Words: "I can play a billion notes per second."

He could play a good villain in a movie.

Wait, he already was one in The Great Outdoors!

TheAtliator

I've always wanted to see Petrucci as either Bruce Wayne or Bane

Sick cover, that said Guthrie needs to be on the cover of GW if he has never been.

All hail Sir John Petrucci, Pro shredder of the realm, Lord of the Seven Stringdoms!

Seriously... the man should be knighted. :metal

He looks hungry for flesh... he hasn't waited this long in between tours for years!

Now that I remember, there's actually a character in the books that plays the harp and is part of the Brotherhood Without Banners nicknamed Tom Sevenstrings, because he comes from a place called Sevenstreams. :lol

Also, someone with enough time in their hands should make a sigil out of this:

Cool pic, and a nice if not ominous heading. :lol

It sounds like a new movie starring JP.

SHRED OR DIE.

RMGadelha

I've just realized that my post number 200 was me posting a picture of a bear playing a guitar. How badass is that? :metal

I love the concept, but I don't like JP's angry face. That's not the JP we know and love.

... and, Yay, the Tab for "Margaritaville".  ;)

He should ditch that beard ._.  He looks like 65yrs old with that.

I think the whole idea behind JPs look in this photo is to give the appearance of a battle-worn guy that has fought his way to the throne for years on end. Working year after year, album after album to keep his well earned claim. His look is that of a man that conquered the world and he's taking but a moments pause to stare down all who oppose him from his ultimate vantage point. With that guitar, he will destroy you. With that withered yet bold look, He WILL destroy you.

BlobVanDam

He looks like some guitar noob just questioned his power, and he's about to smite them with killzone mode.

rumborak

He looks like some LOTR king or something.

Petruccìlðir ?

I lol'd at SHRED OR DIE. Sounds like something adam02 would come up with.

"Uh, yeah, this is John Petrucci, your guitar god. Tonight, I estimate that 10,000 people will die."

"Yah, I love Dweam Siater, and dis weally is da best way for me to die."

EDIT: Holy lol, I've never seen this new video and I'm tearing up. :rollin  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxvEMrvWKfY

I might make myself less popular on here, but I liked Petrucci better with the short-cropped haircut.  I also liked Mangini better when he just started with shorter, wavier hair.

In fact, the only one who should rock the long hair is Myung.

Whenever someone says JP looks better with short hair, I go back to:

and.
I mean one does not simply say that

The Stray Seed

Still convinced I like the Budokan look the most. =D

MoraWintersoul

He looked like a teenager with an identity crisis

Same here... plus, he's losing it on the top. He should just "cut" his losses.

Aye. And the Freys would only need Petrucci's killzone and World domination mode at the wedding instead of a bunch of crossbowmen. Petrucci would be playing The Trains  (of thought) of Castamere.

Budokan JP is the best JP look, hands down. Spiked hair with blonde highlights is a really lame thing to try to pull off on paper, but he makes it look sick.

I agree that he looks better in shorter hair, and also before he beefed himself up. More "I look like a normal guy, but I'll rip your soul out and shred it to pieces". The Score look is my favorite though.
