17. The Dance of Eternity
Just this is worth the plane ride across the country and cost of admission.

N4Player

2 Instrumentals? Either the band is really celebrating anniversaries of albums or other set lists will be heavy on other albums. TBP and BTV please.

I expect maybe more than one instrumental tonight? Looking at their touring schedule, they could do with the odd break for James' voice.

Enigma Machine definitely, and maybe TDOE?

Can I just say... I called it  :coolio

Laughingplace56

I'm thinking they'll keep this set for all of the European leg, maybe a little alteration for the NA leg (DONT GET RID OF DoE), and then after that they'll have a lot of changes made. Since they won't be Evening With... shows, i'd expect maybe 2 songs from each album plus some other songs from the 7 albums ( ???) that weren't played tonight.

cyberdrummer

False Awakening Suite (intro tape)
1. The Enemy Inside
2. The Shattered Fortress
3. On the Backs of Angels
4. The Looking Glass
5. Trial of Tears
6. Enigma Machine (w/ drum solo)
7. Along for the Ride
8. Breaking All Illusions
====================
9. The Mirror
10. Lie
11. Lifting Shadows Off A Dream
12. Scarred
13. Space-Dye Vest
14. Illumination Theory
----------------------------------------
15. Overture 1928
16. Strange Deja-Vu
17. The Dance of Eternity
18. Finally Free

And that's it! According to keys76, show's over! Thanks for sticking with this thread, it's been fun as ever.

I'm flabbergasted.  What a ballsy setlist.

That can't be it. Still 15 minutes to spare! :-[

BlobVanDam

Did......... did DT just play a whole show with no IAW songs? Is there a precedent for that?

Usually their Evening With shows are 3 hours after you take out intermission time, unless I'm completely wrong.

LTL will be next is my guess or ACOS.  :corn

Estiui

Is there any chance of another song after FF? Some I&W encore?

kolahola

Im not complaining about this set, which is not bad, but no IW while having 2 ADTOE...

This, exactly this.

Glad to have "Finally Free" back.

But seriously it's time to have Octavarium, Acos or TKH back.

cyberdrummer

The two shows I saw in 2005 that were Evening With were probably about 2hrs 35 playing time.

johnnysuperfan

more than thrilled with this setlist, no complaints here, March 20 cant get here soon enough, woooooooooooooo !!!!!!!  :metal  :metal  :metal  :metal  :tup

ErHaO

To me, this set list is a lot better than the DTOE tour. I love it!

Hah - that's NORMAL for a Green Day set. And their songs are a lot shorter !!

genome

There are technically 3 instrumentals by the way...

VERY STRANGE setlist! Two songs from ADTOE? Why? They played the entire album on their last tour. I could do without either. Large "pockets" of Awake & SFAM? The songs are all awesome (aside from SDV, but since it's never been played, I like it in the set, even though I don't like the song), but just a strange way to present if they're not gonna just do the whole thing. IMO, the only really cool stuff is the new songs and TSF being played. Most of all, NOTHING from I&W, WDADU, 6DOIT, TOT, 8V or SC? WTH?

BUT, I'm certainly lad the tour has begun :metal

Can't wait to see MM nail the drum solos at the end of Finally Free.

Can't say I wasn't hoping for more of the self-titled.  I want to hear Surrender to Reason, dammit.

I was gonna say they did on the tour they opened for Yes, but they did sneak in LtL there.
