Dream Theater's my favorite band, but I can't say I like every note they put out.

Yeah, I still have kind of an unhealthy love for this band. I get on a pretty major kick where they are all I listen to for a good 2 weeks. Even when I'm not binging on them, I will never object if someone else puts them on (lolyeahright).

I would say Prophets of War is my least favorite song of theirs, but I still honestly love it.  :lol

Oh and by the way, the usatoday page has a constantly refreshing stream (like a news feed) on the right hand side, so I assume it will be updated there with everything else.

Not that I'm sitting on that page like a hawk watching and waiting for it to pop up. Really.

Mosh

It isn't even daylight out here on the West Coast. Just 7:30 in New York. I say we still have quite a long wait.  :lol

Ultimetalhead

There's been a fairly constant stream of activity for the last 15 minutes though. I'm hoping.

I was this way with The Offspring... I was at war with myself over Want You Bad. It was the first song of theirs that made me actually contemplate disliking an Offspring song. I made excuses for myself to like it. That's unhealthy.

Even if I was at friend's house I would like to hear it when I'm alone and with headphones. It's kind of holiday for us :P

I was actually that way with The Offspring for quite a while (and still am to a degree), but I'm very able to realize that Cruising California is a complete and utter shitstorm of musical garbage.

(pretty) girls can like DT. My gf at least doesn't mind it. She even came along to see a show on the ADTOE tour (and didn't dump me afterwards).

Edit: this was in reaction to something on the previous page. Whatever.
Yeah, it was in response to this:

I will be at a friend's house, and I don't wanna subject her to Dream Theater, so I'll have to wait a few hours :lol

If she's a real friend, she really shouldn't mind you taking a few minutes out to listen to something that's that important to you.

Bro, check the gender of his friend, you're dreaming.
wolfking should have checked my gender instead :lol

Hmmm....didn't even look at the poster of that.  :rollin

Saying that, I am the man at gender checking, on close inspections of course.

Allow me to save you some refresh frustration. Don't expect anything prior to 11am EST.

Neither can I. They once played an E flat. I hate E flat.

I'm pretty sure they've played it more than once. I hated it when they originally played it though.

For a normal press-release, sure. But for something like this, where you can assume it is on someone at USA Today's desk to as an early "to do" this morning, you never know. I wouldn't be surprised to see it up around 9.

Heck, it really could be any minute now!

Ultimetalhead

I dunno, I kind of took that to mean that Wey knows something we don't and that it's coming out at 11.

Aw, crap. For some reason, since I determine who someone is by their avatar and not their username, I thought that Wey was GunieaPig, which means that whatever he was posting had a high probability of being wrong :P (j/k GP <3)

I guess their avatars are similar, haha. But yeah, if Wey says 11, I won't refresh USAToday much before then.

livatlantis

I figure it'll be at least two more hours. But I'm sure it'll be worth the wait :metal (Funny, innit, that "I'm sure that..." should imply a degree of uncertainty.)

Everything I have (I'm DT's Social Media Manager) states 11am EST. If USAToday puts it up earlier then they put it up earlier.

Ultimetalhead

That's enough for me.

As an EST dweller, I can confirm that it is 9 minutes away from being 9:00 AM, so 2 hours.

BlastParadigm

So that means that at GMT, it will be around 4pm, I think.
