And to add to Bosk's point, a lot of concert promoters look for "sale numbers and chart positions" to see how much of a risk will they take when booking a band. So, for concert promoting purposes, having DT rank up high in the charts would be beneficial.

That's true, but we also like to see DT do as well on the billboard charts while sticking to their guns and releasing the music they want. It's just a nice bonus to see DT get a little bit of more public exposure. Just like the Grammy nomination. Nobody here really cared about the Grammys, it's just nice to see DT get wider recognition.

Exactly this. 

I don't care about the grammy's either.  But they were thrilled!

I bet anybody would be thrilled if it was their band up there in the spotlight.

On topic... I'd love to see DT chart well again... if any band in the industry deserves continued success, it's DT.

Alter Bridge's is scheduled for sept. too, but as for now there's no specific date.
