Well, even though I do not care for Never Enough, and Sacrificed Sons kind of bores me, the title track is great and the only thing on here I really love, so I have to pick the last option.

Exactly

darkshade

I like every track, but it makes choosing the last option easy, as you get the most music out of it.

Lucien

To the surprise of everyone, These Walls, IWBY, and Panic Attack.

I love Octavarium, but I've heard it so much, as it was the first DT song I'd ever heard.

The Letter M

Last option. I *LOVE* the title track, and enjoy most of "Sacrificed Sons". And oddly enough, I don't mind "Never Enough". It's okay/good, but nothing stellar.

Although, because of the cyclical nature of the album, couldn't we have these options as well:

Sacrificed Sons/Octavarium/The Root Of All Evil
Octavarium/The Root Of All Evil/The Answer Lies Within

If that were the case, I'd totally pick SS/8VM/TROAE.

-Marc.

GasparXR

Even though the title track is my favourite song, I had to pick the second option. The three songs flow so well together because the transitions are just awesome, and they're among my top songs for the album.

Kotowboy

The final two songs are my favourite on the album and Never Enough isn't that bad. It's better than Prophets Of War.

yorost

Never Enough/Sacrificed Sons/Octavarium

Has two (title and N.E.) of the three good songs on the album.

Lucidity

The third option. Most of these 'best run' polls consistently have people voting for whatever run contains the best song of the album. Octavarium is perhaps my favorite DT song, but I don't think it goes particularly well with either of the two tracks before it, so I wouldn't vote for that run.

I agree that the last option doesn't work well, but the other options are even poorer.

NE/SS/8VM is of course stellar, but well, every song on this album is, so I chose TW/IWBY/PA simply because I've been in love with IWBY lately. I've kind of always been, but my love for it got even stronger within the last two weeks :hearts:

MasterLomaxus

The Answer Lies Within/These Walls/I Walk Beside You

I guess I'm in a poppy mood, today.

Meatrose

I almost never listen to Never Enough or Sacrificed Sons but I went with the last option anyways as I think Octavarium is just that much better than all the other songs on the album.

I considered that myself.  Octavarium is an excellent song

Scorpion

The first one. While I'm not particularly fond of TALW, the other two are excellent. If NE were a little better, I might have also went with PA/NE/SS, as I love Panic Attack and Sacrificed Sons as well. Not option with the title track in it would ever get a vote from me, though.

Jaffa

Went with These Walls, I Walk Besides You, and Panic Attack.

These Walls, Sacrificed Sons, and Octavarium would have taken it for me, but alas... they will never meet..

Agreed.
Maybe the grass is greener on the other side because you're not over there fucking it up.

Dellers

The last option, definitely. I really like all three songs musically.

Pretty much exactly this. Octavarium is top ten material, Root is my second favorite on the album and Sacrificed Sons is probably 3rd or 4th. I would definitely pick Sacrificed Sons/Octavarium/Root if that was a choice, but still the last three is an excellent choice. I'm not in love with Never Enough, but it rocks, especially the instrumental part.

Lucien

I would choose Octavarium, These Walls, and Panic Attack, my three favorite songs from the album in descending order.

Unlegit

These Walls / I Walk Beside You / Panic Attack. Three great songs.

It's not "my three favorite songs", it's your favorite 3-song group that appear in order on the album.

Rattlehead

I went with the first option, every other option has at least one song that I don't care for at all. I'm not crazy about any song on this album other than the title track, but the first three songs are at least pretty solid imo. I just couldn't bring myself to vote for the last option even if it has 8vm because Never Enough is a bottom 10 song and Sacrificed Sons bores me to death.  :lol

Also, I did actually say what my choice was, earlier

atmyne

now this is a tough one! everything on this is pure quality imo DESPITE the "muse" influences which seem to bug people. voted for root/answer/these walls.

?

TALW is really boring, but TROAE and These Walls are my favorite songs on the album, so it's got to be the first option. Besides, any option including Never Enough would never get my vote...

8VM and any other 2 songs would get my vote.

Actually, 8VM alone would beat any other trio IMO.
