Favorite 4-album run

Still a tough choice, but having both Scenes and 6 Degrees was more important to me than keeping Images and Words. So Awake/FII/SFAM/SDOIT.

Picked the first one, although option 2 was very tempting too. I'm not the biggest FII fan, but the awesomeness of the other 3 albums makes up for it.

SFAM-SDOIT-TOT-8VM

Three of those four are in my Top Half of DT albums, and TOT isn't that bad. Sure, I love IAW and Awake as much as the next guy, but SFAM and SDOIT just can't be beat, and I really do love 8VM (especially since it was the band's first new album after I became a die-hard fan).

I await the inevitable "Favorite 5-Album Run" Thread...

I chose this option as well, mostly because as far as going from Album to Album, it's the best run. I mean, back then, they had the whole "Meta album" thing going on, so as far as listening to these four back to back, it provides the most solid journey. So as far as a listening experience goes, I think this option gives a much smoother, and more interesting run from beginning to end.

Obvious choice for the second, but only because SFaM is a better than WDADU. The first option was my second choice. All the others are out of the league, since they either don't include I&W or Awake, or have at least one shitty album amongst them.

Tough. I ultimately went with I&W/AW/FII/SFAM, though I also strongly considered AW/FII/SFAM/SDOIT.

Although, really, the best time to be a DT fan was SFAM/SDOIT/TOT/8v. Not the best albums, especially the latter two, but I feel like DT were really laying the spoils on the fans back then, in a way that hasn't really occurred since Evening With's ended.

Once again a tough choice...

Scenes and Six Degrees are my two favorite DT records and since they were released in succession it was very easy to narrow it down to the combinations that include both of them. I almost never listen to any songs on FII or TOT so FII/SFAM/6DOIT/TOT was easily discarded. It boiled down to a choice between Awake and Octavarium. The title track from the latter is probably my favorite song ever but Awake is a much stronger album overall. In other words... I'm going to have to go with Awake/FII/SFAM/6DOIT.

Came to post this. FII could be replaced with an album of hippopotamus sounds and I would still pick this option.
