My buddy Mike and I have this debate all the time. He's for Octavarium, and I think I'm for The Count of Tuscany... But my top three would be TCOT, 8VM, and BAI.

:omg:

You are definitely John Petrucci

Crimson Sunset - Probably my favorite outro. The whole band kicks into high gear, love the lyrics and resolution to the song and Labrie sounds fantastic. I never stop getting chills at the 21:08 mark and the "I sit down with my son..." is just breathtaking.

The Count of Tuscany - Was my favorite for a long time and still is pretty good. The guitar and vocals... top notch.

Learning to Live - Simply phenomenal and probably the best album closer DT has.

Space Dye Vest - It feels so hopeless and depressing, but I love every second of it.

SDOIT: Losing Time - Labrie seems like he's singing for dear life here, he sounds absolutely amazing and the keys here are beautiful.

Metropolis pt.1: The Miracle and the Sleeper - Not much for me to say here without sounding redundant. Extremely atmospheric, soaring vocals, etc. "There must be the third and last dance..."

As soon as I read the lyrics for the crimson sunset in your post I started hearing it in my head and even that gave me chills. Best outro with out a doubt.
