I have so far refused to look at any YouTube videos from these two concerts as I'd like to let the viewing of the Blu-ray to be the first time I experience them but could someone tell me if the string quartet did a good job or not? Those out of tune violins on Score still haunt my dreams at night.

The snare is off-putting but I still listen to it.

In the same way people may like the album Octavarium but not like "Never Enough".

And besides, that's a pretty poor analogy. If I hated nuts (or, say, was allergic) then I obviously wouldn't eat a cake covered in them - why would anyone do that? Surely you'd pick a cake without nuts?
