Well one the thread title and two I looked through there and there still is no definitive answer on that one and I for one am really curious to find out where it came from. All we have is speculation.

Not really, actually. In his recent Q&As he has not been reticent about his time in DT. He even said that he's willing to talk freely about everything that happened in the timespan 1985-August2010.

September 2010 is, quite obviously, off limits for him.

Not really, actually. In his recent Q&As he has not been reticent about his time in DT. He even said that he's willing to talk freely about everything that happened in the timespan 1985-August2010.

September 2010 is, quite obviously, off limits for him. 

To me he's made it pretty clear that he would rather everyone look back fondly on his time in DT and not resent him or the rest of the band for anything that happened after that and just wants to put it to rest because what's done is done. I think the last thing he wants to do is to be asked again about the split itself.
