I'd love for them to play ITNOG here. Since we got the PMU/Metropolis medley last time, and As I Am, I'm thinking ITNOG is probable. And ITNOG and As I Am are my two standouts from ToT, so I'd quite enjoy that :hat

There has been some really great set list this PN tour, much more varied then their previous incarnations. I wonder how the band feels playing POW and ITNOG, it must feel great to have such variety of songs to play. I wonder what Black Clouds song they think is the most fun to play yet, but Im sure its all three of 'em.

Whoa Fiery winds, I was on JP's balcony side! I was the third section in, 5th row. Me and my brother were one of the few people that were standing on the balcony. :sadpanda:

Words can't express how good the performance was. This was my third time seeing them and I was still dumbfounded at how talented they are. During the Solitary Shell jam, I couldn't decide who to watch! They were all so damn good! Oh and James was spot on. During ITNOG a few times I was blown away at how much power there was behind the high notes.

The sound was actually very good from where I was. Mike's bass drum was loud as fuck which made it even better. :tup The only problem I had was that the keyboards were way too low in the mix during some of the jams.

SystematicThought

I can't wait to see what they do in Europe, it should be different, right?

PlaysLikeMyung

I expect so. They'll probably keep a few of the same songs from PN North America, but my guess is they'll change up most of it

I'd say the curtain was more afraid of Petrucci than DT in general because only JP's side didn't fall.

Yeah it was hilarious, imagine being there!

The sound quality was surprisingly good. My dad got a good quality video of the whole concert, he might put it up on youtube.

Thats a funny video.  I like how when they finally get the curtain down, JP can't be seen since I think he is probably standing away from the curtain in case it comes down on him.

It happened in Philly, like was already said, and it *almost* happened at Asbury Park. The curtain hung up for about a second, and you saw the guy just about go into frantic mode and then it came down.

ResultsMayVary

I'm gonna expect that the curtain doesn't fall in L.A. since one of the other bands may try to play a joke on DT.

Perpetual Change

Yeah, something tells me they're done with the curtain falling.

That's a long setlist. :metal

Yea, nine songs.  Stinks they got two songs from SC.  Would have probably been cooler if they just did ITPOE Pt. 1 instead of CM and POW since they played it in Europe, but not in the US.

ResultsMayVary

I don't know about anyone else but i would be happy to get CM and PoW.

:rollin Yeah I would've been a bit pissed. I was so happy we didn't get ANY SC songs. The lack of IAW songs made me kinda eh but you know what? In The Name Of God, James being on fire, Solitary Shell, the curtain not falling, and the beautiful solo in Hollow Years totally made up for that.

I didn't know where to put this but i read it off Chris from Scale The Summit's blog: [SPOILER] Do not click the link unless you want to know something about the L.A. show.

I hope you enjoyed it.  While you were rocking out I was twenty miles away, sweating my ass off in a hot kitchen.

Some kind of special jam at the Greek tonight. I'm not sure who will be jamming but there will be a special jam.
