Well that was pretty much a set list from last year's PN with the BC&SL songs instead of SC songs.  Still cool for DT to be able to throw out this set list.

cyberdrummer

Yeah I suppose, but it's still one of the weaker setlists in my opinion.

ResultsMayVary

That's a good setlist. Second best except for Boston in my opinion.

Zeltar

Good setlist.

you know what I realized? As long as I get to see Sacrificed Sons I'll be happy. I HAVE to see that song live.

Good setlist.

I think we might.  Here are the last two setlists from the bay area:

2007
1. Constant Motion
2. Panic Attack
3. Blind Faith
4. Scarred
5. Surrounded
6. The Dark Eternal Night
7. Keyboard Solo
8. Lines In The Sand
9. The Spirit Carries On
10. In The Presence Of Enemies
----------------------------------------
11. Schmedley Wilcox

2008
1. In The Presence Of Enemies Pt. 1
2. Beyond This Life
3. Misunderstood
4. Forsaken
5. Never Enough
6. Erotomania
7. Voices
8. The Ministry Of Lost Souls
----------------------------------------
9. Medley:
I. Metropolis, Pt. 1: The Miracle and the Sleeper
II. Learning To Live
III. A Change Of Seasons: The Crimson Sunset

Beyond this Life, Erotomania and Voices are being heavily played this time, but I don't think we'll get them since we had them last year.

If I had to guess, I would put this setlist up:

1. ANTR
2. AROP
3. Hollow Years (extended)
4. Prophets of War
5. TDoE
6. Sacrificed Sons
7. Solitary Shell (extended)
8. TCoT
--------------
9. Metropolis

I would be very happy with that setlist.

Out of those 3 set lists, I'd actually prefer the first 1 from 2007

Well that one does have the most music so that makes sense.

The only song I didn't get to see, but really wanted to from this tour.

SystematicThought

For tomorrow, I hope I see The Dance of Eternity, One Last Time, and Solitary Shell, I'd be content

ResultsMayVary

I want to see them play another song that they haven't played on this leg yet.

If they play TDoE, they'll probably play OLT, and I don't know if it'll fit in the set (I didn't add it up, so don't take my word for it)

I'm really hoping for as little SC as much these next couple tours. If nothing else, they could at least cut out Forsaken, even if that means Constant Motion (decent metal song at least)

This would be an awesome setlist. I'm really hoping for Metropolis. I've seen DT 4 times in the Bay Area and have yet to hear Metropolis live. Also, can't wait to hear TCoT live! Will be the highlight of the night!

Zeltar

Oh so we do have more than 2 people going to the show. Meetup anyone? PM me if you want to.

And to add, Brakkum, I am pretty sure I was standing next to you outside before the doors opened. You were talking to a guy with a beard, if I recall

That's a damn good setlist!
A great show throughout. This was my first DT show. I knew Solitary Shell was coming, mainly because I saw the guitar tech playing around with the double neck guitar

I'm glad they played In The Name of God again. What a great song to end the set.

Not bad.  I will be seeing them in Milwaukee tonight.  I hope they replace Prophets of War with Voices or Sacrificed Sons.  I'd love to hear ITNoG, though.  Only heard it once live.

I am guessing they'll swap in Voices and Erotomania for Dance of Eternity and One Last Time, since many of us midwestern guys hit two or three shows when they tour (MN, IL and WI).  I'd love to see:

Nightmare to Remember
A Rite of Passage
Sacrificed Sons
Erotomania
Voices
In The Name of God

They'll through in Hollow Years in the above set if they'll do it that way.

If you saw a kid that looked to be around 15 years old in a grey Train of Thought T-shirt and khaki's that would be me then

I thought this was somewhat appropriate to ask here, but does anyone think that Take Away My Pain will ever be played again

Did Petrucci have some issues with his guitar right at the end of the very first solo into the full band entrance (The Count of Tuscany part 1)?
