Well they did "promise" this week not next so it's kind of hard to take anything they say seriously at this point... although the new week starts on monday in my part of the world so I guess they have another 10 hours or so before I completely give up on anything  OTE says regarding new DT clips...

People are way too impatient and imprudent. They've plagued OTE productions' facebook with "DT VIDEO PLS YOU GUYS SUCK THERS NO INFO AT ALL....MIKEPORTNEY PLS INDONESIA" comments. They've already said they're at DT's mercy and that things will be released when DT wishes so. That being said, DT VIDEO PLS. 

Well... on a second thought maybe OTE made this to themselves, by announcing something that wasn't really on them to announce.

At this point, OTE should have just provided no insight as to when anything was to be released.

If I had to make a guess, I would say they're holding off on the trailer until the whole DVD/Bluray is complete and they can put a release date on it?

It is pretty bogus this whole thing is going so slow but eh, in the end it doesn't affect me much.

Kinda reminds me of how long it took them to announce The Spirit Caries On video.

Even then they said wait til tomorrow for an announcement and everyone was all like, "Ohhhh, so now we have an announcement that there is going to be an announcement!?!?!"

Oh well...all will be forgotten when it comes out.

This is bullshit... They haven't even released the specific details of what's in the different editions or preorders. This DVD is being held back like it's a Francis Ford Coppola masterpiece. If the trailer isn't even ready what hope have we of the Blu-Ray? Will they all be recalled like the glitch that happened with Budokan too??

Whoa there buddy!  Easy.  I want the news and the Blu Ray like you do but when they are happy with the outcome then they will release everything like Blob said.

And BTW shouldn't you have the word "Spirit" in you name.

I'm thinking we won't see the new trailer until the DVD/BD is finished to be honest. From a sales-oriented point of view it would make a lot of sense to release it the day the official release date is announced and the product becomes available for pre-ordering.

I wasn't even expecting a new trailer or a release date... that isn't what OTE put forward over a month ago. They asked if we "wanted to see one of the bonus features on the Dream Theater DVD" which I definitely thought would have been cool... I'm not loosing sleep over it or anything but no info would have been better than wrong info IMO.

Yes, but it should be said that now the cover art fits better the expected w/h ratio for DVDs. Also the transition between the sky and the city is too smoth and good to be fake.

I will agree with you there. I do prefer the picture with the skyline over the one without it. Not to mention the w/h ratios are close to being right, like you pointed out. It definitely has my approval.

This one also seems to have a little shadow under the cyclist... looks a little less cut-and-pasted. Maybe the amazon.co.jp one was an earlier draft.
