Ah yes Pipo and Eli. They are truly amazing and talented. I wish they'd do more stuff.

I'm not denying their talent but I just can't get into these covers  :\

It's not for everyone. Her accent is a bit strong, and you have to like female vocals and acoustic music.

Not really.  You just have to like her vocals and his acoustic music.

True. But if you hate all female vocals (like a few of my friends do) and hate all acoustic music (like a lot of pure metal heads do) then you probably won't like this.

really well done as all others too!! This duo is amazing, really hope they will do new stuff in future.

Syzzle

Would like it better if it wasn't acoustic but it's not bad at all.

gagedez

Niceeee, The Dance of Eternity is pretty badass on acoustic

Pretty sure that would defeat the purpose of what they're doing. It would be like saying "I'd like Apocalyptica more if they weren't Cellos".

I just listened to the whole thing. I probably won't do it again but it was pretty cool. Especially the instrumental songs

Captainchaos204

Not bad at all.    Very unique for sure.  I think it'd be cool for DT to do some of these acoustic live at some point

I didnt know pure metal heads even liked Dream Theater to begin with. I tried to get some of my hardcore metal head friends into Dream Theater last year, they all hated it. They didnt even enjoy Nightmare to Remember or Glass Prison. Only one of them liked any of the DT songs I showed them, and it was Constant Motion.  :\
oh well, everyone has an opinion i suppose.....

it makes it sound like Pink Floyd's Animals.  I expect David Gilmour to come in singing any second...

Scorpion

My favourite is definitely fatal tragedy. The instrumental section is sick.

Adami

I really like what they did with the beginning of Strange Deja Vu. The alternate panning guitar parts and the very soft vocals as the first verse. Very cool and totally gives off an awesome vibe.

I only really have one pure metal head friend and he digs As I Am... but I tried showing him more and he just wasn't into it.  Maybe I seem like I'd be a metal head with the Megadeth avatar / name and all but I'm not, I love soft acoustic music as well. I did give it another chance and I really enjoyed The Dance of Eternity cover which is ridiculously impressive and One Last Time is really good as well. I'm interested in hearing more of their work, preferably original stuff. They're obviously extremely talented, I just feel like a lot of the songs on SFAM don't sound right when played acoustically.
