The man is in Limp Bizkit for heaven's sake.

Limp BIZKIT

Even if he was just trolling........

HE'S IN LIMP BIZKIT

"Hot Dog"

Ladies and gentlemen!
Introducing the Chocolate Starfish!
and the Hotdog Flavored Water
Bring it on!
Get the fuck up!
Yeah!
Check, one, two

Listen up, listen up!
Here we go
It's a fucked up world
A fucked up place
Everybody's judged by their fucked up face
Fucked up dreams
Fucked up life
A fucked up kid
With a fucked up knife
Fucked up moms
And fucked up dads
It's a fucked up a cop
With a fucked up badge
Fucked up job
With fucked up pay
And a fucked up boss
Is a fucked up pain
Fucked up press
And fucked up lies
Well, Lethal's in the back
With the fact of the fires

Hey, it's on
Everybody knows it's on
Hey, it's on
Everybody knows it's on

Ain't it a shame that you can't say "Fuck"
Fuck's just a word
And it's all fucked up
Like a fucked up punk
With a fucked up mouth
A nine inch nail
I'll get knocked the fuck out
Fucked up aids
From fucked up sex
Fake ass titties
On a fucked up chest
We're all fucked up
So whatcha wanna do?
We fucked up me
And fucked up you

You wanna fuck me like an animal
You'd like to burn me on the inside
You like to think that I'm a perfect drug
Just know that nothing you do
Will bring you closer to me

Ain't life a bitch?
A fucked up bitch
A fucked up sore with a fucked up stitch
A fucked up head
Is a fucked up shame
Swinging on my nuts
Is a fucked up game
Jealousy filling up a fucked up mind
It's real fucked up
Like a fucked up crime
If I say "Fuck", two more times
That's forty six "Fucks" in this fucked up rhyme

It's on
Everybody knows it's on
Hey, it's on
Everybody knows it's on

You wanna fuck me like an animal
You'd like to burn me on the inside
You like to think that I'm a perfect drug
Just know that nothing you do
Will bring you closer to me

Hooo Haaa Haaaw!
Listen up baby
You.. can't.. bring.. me.. (bring me).. down
I.. don't.. think.. so
I don't want some
You.. better.. check.. your.. (check it).. self
Before.. you.. wreck.. your.. self
Kiss.. my.. star.. fish
My.. choco.. late.. Starfish.. punk
Kiss.. my.. star.. fish
My.. choco.. late.. Starfish.. punk

You wanna fuck me like an animal
You'd like to burn me on the inside
You like to think that I'm a perfect drug
Just know that nothing you do
Will bring you closer to me

I don't care who.

I don't care what.

But PLEASE

Quote from: BlobVanDam on December 11, 2014, 08:19:46 PMHef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

His original quote was acceptable. It would have ignited a fire, but the Twitter stuff was like dumping a water tower full of petrol on the fire.

This will be a rehash I'm sure of the other pages...

Even if I was a LB fan (have first three albums) and not a DT fan, I would be disappointed in his utter lack of tact and respect. He purposely mis-spelled the band's name, and screwed with that. Further, he makes baseless claims...by the definition of a song, DT writes songs, as does Limp Bizkit.

QuoteDefinition of SONG

1
: the act or art of singing
2
: poetical composition
3
a : a short musical composition of words and music
b : a collection of such compositions
4
: a distinctive or characteristic sound or series of sounds (as of a bird, insect, or whale)
5
a : a melody for a lyric poem or ballad
b : a poem easily set to music
6
a : a habitual or characteristic manner
b : a violent, abusive, or noisy reaction <put up quite a song>
7
: a small amount <sold for a song>
— song·like adjective

And to continue, he goes on with the speed = no soul. I had no idea every DT song was 200bpm with pure shred! (aka, some of Dragonforce). This is obviously a completely ignorant opinion, as we all know JP has almost as many slow, melodic playing (if not mixed into shred solos) as he does shred solos.

And what is with this opinion on DT? They have this rep that it is 100% technicality. The great thing about them is they are not Spastik Ink, Spiral Architect and etc. They have melodies, and strong ones, in just about every song. Which is more then can be said for Limp Bizkit in my opinion. Boiler? Where is that single's hook?

Ugh... not that I was going to buy a LB album again (or a Borland album), but I do not think I will be listening to the first three for a LONG time.

This is probably the stuff Rush gets or got I'm sure.

adameastment

This angered me. I decided to post a rant on Facebook about it.

Facebook is boss.

We have shown incredible gutter manners about this so far, especially when it's clear as day he wasn't being vindictive or intentionally offensive about his remarks. Our sense of humor is comparable to that of 14 year old girls and so is our fighting back style. This thread makes us as a whole lot sadder than him imo  :\

I spotted a 14 years old girl at the concert in Milano, and even dared to ask her if she was there for Periphery. The look she gave to me...  :rollin

Honey Badger don't care...
Honey badger doesn't give a shit!

However, having said that, just as a commentary:

If I were to stand atop a 12 foot ladder, drop trouser and take a steaming crap onto a guitar plugged into an amp, it would sound better and more musically complex than anything Limp Bizkit has ever come up with.    ...God's honest truth.

Man, if John Petrucci hears about this Wes will be in big trouble.

JP will pick him up, and put him down.

Interesting how this happened over a week ago and it's still such a hot topic. I'm reminded of an acquaintance of mine that still reminds me of the time he got drunk and got into a fist fight at a bar and won, 10 years ago. "Yeah, Steve, that's great, man. Can you motion again how you punched him in the jaw, please? I forgot."

The rest of the world that was involved moved on but he's hung up about something that's not really worth talking about anymore.

If he (as in Borland) is so hung up about it, why has he not said a word about it in several days and ended it by saying that he'd come to like some of DT's stuff?

Perhaps he lost interest in his own argument and doesn't care about it enough to justify another response?

Perhaps. But you were implying he was still talking about the thing.

And in any case, I think he wasn't entirely serious.
