Millais

JLB is sounding incredible in every video that I'm watching from their current tour. just wow.

Mladen

Incredible.  :hefdaddy

And James sounds brilliant, I hope he'll sound just as good in two weeks.  :metal

Progmetty

Awesome!
You mean almost proshot quality. Bootleg means audience recording so that is a bootleg, not almost one :D

No, I mean more like a bootleg you'd pay for.

snapple

Honestly, this song has all of the Dream Theater "sounds" in it (dueling solos and shit) and it sounds infinitely better than the stuff we've been getting on the previous albums.

BITS is my most played song from ADTOE. It's amazing.

Yup most play for me too because its my favorite of the new album. Wicked intro, and seeing the lights surround JP when he plays his first notes are amazing. Comon live DVD!

PixelDream

I was at this gig last wednesday, it was amazing. Bridges was a great opening to the show, and the whole Inception thing with the band member comic stuff was funny and great. Periphery have whiny clean vocals but their badass djent grooves sounded really awesome. Definately an enjoyable opener for a DT gig.

Scrub206

Ugh JLB needs to lose the trench coat... its not him :( at all

ronrule

I don't get the love for this song and don't think it will age well. Burping, metull!!, cymbal work is way too metronomic, and "Shaman, take my hand!" is the new "sucking on his pipe". Just silly and not cool-silly like light to dark dark to light light to dark...

He usually dumps it a few songs in. I kind of like it though. After all, I double-high-five'd him while he was wearing it.  ;D

Confirmed for JLB Trench Coat Expert. What's he pay you?

Oh, and for the guy who said that "Shaman take my hand" is the new "sucking on his pipe".............LOL. Trolls usually are less obvious.

4/10. You got me to respond.

That makes no sense.  People should never pay for bootlegs.  Ever.

As far as the video itself, yeah, pretty good quality.  I'm amazed that the mic handled the sound so well and that the mix is so good right at the front of the venue like that.

Do you mean like ytsejamrecords official bootlegs that you pay for?

bosk1

No, I don't include those because they aren't "bootlegs."  True bootlegs are done independently of the band and do not earn the band any income.  If you are paying for a bootleg, you are paying somebody who is unrelated to the band for something they have no right to be selling in the first place.  The Ytsejam releases are done with the oversight of the band and the money goes to the band.  Huge difference.  Almost any bootleg out there, you should be able to find for free or for trade.  You should never have to pay for a bootleg.  Doing so only allows bootleggers to profit from a band's labor without the band seeing a dime.

Kotowboy

Apparently Pantera...

Have not seen a Dime

For a few years now... :hat

Gadough

I like Labrie's trench coat. Makes him seem all elegant and regal and badass when he makes his entrance.

antigoon

I think it looks a bit ridiculous, but it's Dream Theater and they can do whatever the shit they want. Besides nothing will be worse than JP's identity crisis phase in the mid 00's :lol

Mladen

I really think James worked on his image, it's important what he wears if he wants to leave an impression with his appearance. Thumbs up for his trench coat, as well as his leather jacket.  :tup

Come on, his best look was in 2005!

Oh, I almost forgot: great video!  :hat

Ryzee

I've got the perfect tune for DT to cover:  "I Think I'm Going Bald."

Seriously, all I can see in this vid is James & JP's foreheads!  (Not that theres anything wrong with that- I mean no disrespect to the bald community, it's just an observation.)

emindead

At least they are not in the Devin Townsend stage.

rumborak

The overexposed camera makes it look as if JP has a massively receding hairline. :lol

Awesome video, why is this "almost" bootleg quality? I would say this is a great bootleg (for the one song).
