Here's a cool interview with James, where he's talking about the grammy, and the combination of being a familyman and a rock star!

when were they ever out with elton john or jimmy page? was it like a festival?

Thanks for that. :tup
Nothing new in terms of DT, but it was nice to hear something more personal about JLB, rather than the usual same DT stuff you get in every interview.

They did a bunch of festival gigs in the summer of 95, several of which were with Page/Plant and one or two with Elton John. IIRC, that's when MP (and probably the other guys) met and drank with Jimmy Page in their (DT's) dressing room. Also, I don't believe MP (or the other guys) ever met Elton John or Rod Stewart tho they were on the same bills for some festivals.

I'm pretty sure everyone calls him James at work but he is Kevin at home.

I love that he decided to stay in his hometown.  There is something about that mentality that shows he doesn't feel like he has anything to prove and is happy and feels fortunate to be in the position he is in.

Cool interview :tup :tup, but that site needs an updated picture of the band with the current lineup.

It looks like a small local newspaper, or something like that. Don't think they even know there's been a line up change. It looks like this interview was done cause it was cool to have a local guy nominated for the grammy award.

Whoever formatted that page needs to be shot.

My favorite part of that interview is when they talk about how James still lives in the town he grew up in.  That's awesome.

I'd love to end up living where I grew up. Awesome read!

This times a million. It's just plain awful looking and is extremely bad in terms of readability.

What I noticed while reading: Even Canada uses degrees Celsius. Canada always seem to follow more international (and actually easier) standards. Only the Americans are making it hard for themselves I guess :P

Once I was looking for a tool to calculate the atmosphere pressure at a certain altitude and I stumbled into some obscure thing evaluating pressure in pounds per square foot. I laughed for about a week afterwards  :lol

Ok...now you lost me.

But seriously, I'm a relatively educated guy and I still don't know why we use miles vs. kilometers and things like that.
