Breaking all Illusions . JP's solo is pure Genius.

BTW here is a great interpretation of that solo

Breaking All Illusions for me aswell.  :hefdaddy

Got quite a bit of plays from DT on my holiday travels.

Octavarium is still a killer song.
In the presence of enemies part 2 is so effing metal but they should have just made that one tune.

Surrounded is my all time favorite. Today, if we're talking current lineup, I'd go with Bridges, Outcry and Breaking All Illusions. These are all very uplifting tunes to me, and they will be my "go to" tunes for a long while.

I think with "today" the OP meant that on different days, you have different favorite songs. Like one day you're suddenly in the mood to play Blind Faith 10 times over. So it's not a question of the line-up.

Lowdz

Still BAI today, but just played TCOT and Finally Free and wallowed in their awesomeness.

Kind of torn between some songs. Namely, Trial of Tears, Repentance, Breaking all Illusions, and Octavarium.

I think for today, it is Octavarium.   My wife doens't care much for DT, but she loves singing with James when he is TRAPPED INSIDE THIS OCTAVARIUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM!

What a tune.

On the Backs of Angels. But it's a shame Aniland's not here to see all the track five love. I think it's my favourite off the album, too, overall.

But god, OtBoA's brilliant, isn't it? I was listening to it the other day, and just had a moment where I went "Wait - this is Grammy nominated!" Rightly so, too. The more awards that song gets, the better. The cheeky bastard should be weighed down by all the medals.

Pretty far from being my favourite, but it's the DT only song to reach my ear today, so I guess:

Pull Me Under (Live at Arnsburg 93)

Super Dude

:superdude:

Bongasti

Probably Lines in the Sand. I just really got into it a while ago.

MuumiPeikko

Number one is always the same - Metropolis pt. 1 - The Miracle and the Sleeper.

Rest are changing from time to time. Currently number two is Bridges in the Sky

YtseJamittaja

On The Backs Of Angels today. Just listened Just Let Me Breathe (last time was about 2 years ago) and remembered how good song that is.

Btw, @MuumiPeikko, great username and avatar!! Moomies is one of the best TV-series in the world! :)

Argh! My least favourite DT song ever!

The Killing Hand (Christmas edition)

Syzzle

Octavarium

It's pretty much my favorite every day.

Still consider my overall favorite to be Take the Time, but today I'm kind of obsessed with The Killing Hand.

"Fatal Tragedy", actually.  I never understood the love for the song until I revisited the album when it was released on vinyl.  So good.

Lines in the sand but Octavarium is THE masterpiece.  I would pay a full price ticket just to hear them live playing those two songs.

Invisible

I've got my fingers to the blade
But I can't feel a thing
Open my eyes in salty water
But it doesn't even sting

Under my skin, upon my head
Stuck in my throat, beneath my breath
My black and whites are turning red

Cover my eyes and tell me
Am I really blind
Cover my eyes and tell me
Have I lost my mind

Today it's this one and Constant Motion :metal

ThatOneGuy2112

Today it was Finally Free, which is already one of my favorite DT songs anyways. :metal But I gave a few random songs a spin and this one sent chills like it always does.
