Ok I admit this section is polarizing, and I actually don't count it to the intro.

BTW I really like the widdley diddley, caught me first time off guard while listening.  :omg:

Not saying it's the best, but I love the intro to New Millennium. Such a groovy moment when it kicks into gear.

Yes I'm listening to it now.

Zydar

As I Am has a cool intro, so does The Root Of All Evil.

The Silent Cody

Well The Count Of Tuscany for sure. As I Am is dark and badass, I like it. Bridges also should be here on that list ;) and Outcry :)

Love that.

Also, As I Am and These Walls are pretty awesome.

I love the intro to Octavarium. It's just such a haunting melodic/atmospheric moment. I hate that so many people (mostly non-DT fans) think it's boring.

Blazinarps

I don't like the lap steel and continuum solo. I think it's too long. However, the acoustic guitar that comes in is absolutely gorgeous.

CrimsonSunrise

Let's see....

ACOS....then maybe....ACOS...and so on, and so on,  ;D

Pols Voice

Rkeister

Agree with all of the above. I would give Stream of Conciousness an honorable mention

FlyingBIZKIT

Best from each album:

WDADU: The Killing Hand
I&W: Take The Time
Awake: Scarred
FII: New Millennium/Lines In The Sand/Trial Of Tears

TOT: In The Name Of God
8VM: Octavarium
SC: In The Presence Of Enemies
BCSL: The Count Of Tuscany
ADTOE: Bridges In The Sky

Liberation

Sorry, but in this thread there is only one correct answer:
Home.

lonestar

Many great ones mentioned, but I have to give props to About to Crash, the soft piano followed by that first crashing chord is just plain awesome.

energythief

God, what a topic! This is so hard to do, so I just am starting with Images & Words:

1. Metropolis
2. Pull Me Under
3. Under a Glass Moon
4. Wait for Sleep
5. Another Day
6. Take the Time
7. Learning to Live
8. Surrounded

Funny how different my "intro" rankings are from my "song" rankings. I am going to do this for every album. :)

Jirpo

1. Metropolis
2. ACOS
3. 8VM
4. TCOT
5. TGP
6. TROAE

Rough order probably forgot some lol.
