Someone report the set!  :tup

And some song videos for the record as well ;)

Anyway, I don't know if it has been already said, but does anyone know if Charlie Dominici will attend the show?

Lark the Starless

Please post the setlist once you guys know!

I'll be seeing them at Anaheim tomorrow. I'm in the front GA standing section.

Sometime during the middle of the last tour, they dropped The Great Debate and put Breaking All Illusions in the set.

You had me!

Looks like the set list is the same as the US leg. Europe has not heard any of ADToE except On the Backs of Angels during the summer tour but everything else is the same. We can expect DT will play ADToE songs for them and the rest will be new!

The show was very well attended.  The orchestra section was way smaller than the last two gigs (Nokia and Bass Concert Hall), although the balcony was bigger than expected.

Setlist C, so I finally got to see Beneath the Surface, phewww.  DT was solid as ever, and I chatted with a couple of DTFers after the show.

Something I've noticed on this tour more than others is the amount of recorded backing tracks used prominently throughout the set.

Andy McKee blew us away as an opener and the crowd had fun with it. (some guy yelled "I want to have your babies," and he had a humorous, incredulous response).  Very nice vibe and change of pace for a DT show.

Did Charlie Dominci attend?  Maybe.  Now that I think of it the guy sitting next to me very well could have been Charlie. hmmmm......

In a touching moment, James talked about the trials of the past year and how especially special it was to be nominated for a Grammy.

Show #30 tomorrow night in Anaheim!!

Show #30 tomorrow night in Anaheim!!

Couldn't have been Charlie, cuz Charlie was sitting next to me (second row balcony) and no one sat on the other side of him.

Anaheim is show #30 for you, show #50 for me!   :)
Quote from: BlobVanDam on November 13, 2015, 07:37:14 PMAs a basic rule, if you hate it, you must solely blame Portnoy. If it's good, then you must downplay MP's contribution to the band as not being important anyway, or claim he's just lying. It's the DTF way.

Charlie was there. he just posted a pic of him and the Wizard on Facebook.

Pictureday

Great show last night. A little disapointed security didn't let you take pics or stand in the balcony. Great view of the band from the balcony though. So glad they played Outcry. I can cross it off my bucket list... My 12yr old & I will be at the Grove tonight also. Every DT concert I bring my son to, everybody talks to him about how cool it is that he "gets" DT at such a young age. He feels so special. He doesn't shut up out it the whole car ride home....Anyway's, any of you guys going tonight see somebody with their son, thats me!!! say hello!

Gotcha.  Yeah, i would have been surprised if I did sit next to him and not realize it.  #30 & 50 = should be special for both of us.

okay, I'm a noob and I'm gonna prove it... who is Charlie? I see his name pop up all the time but have no clue as to who people are talking about... sorry y'all!  ???

Charlie Dominici, who was DT vocalist in the '80s before James LaBrie, and sang on When Dream and Day Unite.
