Not bad.  Mine would be TRIUMPHANT.

Unfortunately, I can't manage just one word. I must say "Most Not Heinous".

ADTOE in one word: Surprising!

I was really sure that I would not like any DT album without Portnoy but it is a fantastic album. It's better than Octavarium, Systematic Chaos and Black Clouds.

SuperTaco

For me it's Reassuring.

They still have the magic that made me love their music in the first place. Nothing personal against MP but he was turning that magic into something more straightforward and a little bit predictable at times. Dream Theater have rediscovered the essence that makes them so unique and compelling. I can still hear some influences from SC and BC&SL, but it's only a small part of the equation.

Know that special feeling you get when the music comes together so perfectly that it gives you chills and a really good feeling inside? I hadn't felt that since Octavarium (Razor's Edge especially). I get that feeling a couple times on this album.

It reassures me that DT still has a long way to go before their time is done.

You should feel special.  Often on the DTF, people make serious threads that devolve into jokes.  Here you've made a joke thread that turned into a thoughtful discussion for some people.

Nice job.

Cranky

Okay, a little over 2 weeks since the album came out, and I FINALLY came up with ONE word to describe A Dramatic Turn of Events...

Alright, you guys ready for it?

You sure?

Alright, here it goes....

"Good."

Crow

turns out signatures are fundamentally broken now so here's my passive-aggressive signature about signatures instead

I don't really see where the attitude is coming from when you managed to start a successful thread.

Varied.

Any DT album is better than Systematic Chaos, IMO.
