Yeah you're right, this is not worth talking about. They played a 10 minute Dream Theater song on a modern rock station without cutting anything out. Nothing to see here folks, Dream Theater just came a really long way from only getting singles played on the radio(not even played is more like it) to having uncut videos and songs.

Thought I would be late to the party, but was able to tune in towards the end of the instrumental section, just after Petrucci's solo. Quite cool. I know how stoked I would be if I heard some new DT on the rock station here in Seattle (they played As I Am once, right when ToT came out, and PMU once during an 80's special  ), so hearing that must have been awesome for you, Infinite Cactus.

And as far as Lost Not Forgotten on the radio, I am a little suprised like others are. However, since I love the song, I'm trying to figure out which aspect is cooler, the fact that LNF was played, or the fact that they played the full song.

That's what was so nuts, is that not only have I NEVER heard any DT song on the radio before, but an UNCUT song especially a non radio friendly one.  And it was FM radio, to satellite radio.

That's pretty cool.  Lord knows WEBN here in Cincinnati would probably never play anything from the band.  One of the thousands of US radio stations that has been playing the same music over and over again for the last 20 years.   Thank god for internet radio.

Louisville must be a fairly "progressive" city when it comes to music.  I'm thinking about going to a concert there in November (great prog rock band called District 97).  Be sure to give the band a listen if you've never heard them before.
