Well, I'm sad to say that for the first time in some 8 years I won't be attending a Dream Theater gig on their world tour.
And I would have LOVED to have witnessed them playing the new material!

Hey guys, new member here. Been a loooooooong lurker/read-only kinda guy though

I would really really like to go to the gig, but (it might sound a bit strange) I really hate going alone. Nobody in my circle of friends/family likes DT, which means I basicly dont know anybody who would go to the show. Thats why, for all the time that Ive been a fan, Ive never been to a concert, and I would so much like to go just once in my life

Would any of you guys be going alone and wanting to meet up or anything like that? (going from Utrecht)

Another lurker reporting...

I'll definitely will be there, along with some friends! And Nihil, a friendly wave from Heino, so I could go to the concert by bike too, if I really wanted to.

And Rossi, whether you'll be able to hook up with some others or not, seeing DT live is the next thing to heaven on earth... I don't go to too many concerts, only the really good stuff (like Vai, Satriani and Zappa meets Zappa), but I wouldn't miss this one for the world! The more so as, with Mangini, they seem to be more of a band... I loved Portnoy, but he used to be the main center of attention. Based on footage on Youtube there's more interaction between them all these days, and I really like the increased presence of Jordan's keys on ADTOE, for one. And DT live sounds even better than on record - in itself quite an achievement.

btw i saw on the internet that the show starts a bit earlier... start time is 19.50 instead of 20.00

Yes I'm in for the Zwolle gig and going the next day for Dussldorf to. Did had plans to go to Paris with my girlfriend but some d*ckhead in my band planned a gig on that day....so perhaps another date on the Euro leg has to fix that damage, we'll see.
Looking forward for this show....

Probably means they'll play the full version of Pull Me Under, not the standard cut off version at the end...

There are no trains going from zwolle to this side of the country... or you'll have to wait till 5 in the morning. Nighttrain only goes to schiphol.... and then only in the summer time.

Im going by car from Den Haag

I'm Driving alone from zwolle back to Den Haag.... I'm actually mostly not the guy who takes strangers with me in the car... but we could meet before or after the show... maybe if it okey i can drive via rotterdam back to Den Haag

But i'm not going to promise anything...
