How much does the DT members practice?

For Petrucci, I'd guess he doesn't 'practice' terribly much...like someone else said, most likely an hour a day but I'm sure he noodles around and writes music way more than that; who knows, maybe he spends entire days with a guitar in his hands and a salmon in his mouth. I remember back when JP was tweetin' up a storm, he'd mention running through 16 note-per-second scale patterns and doing Steve Vai's trill exercise so there's no doubt that he does still work on the mechanics of his guitar playing.

I would say he definitely does.. in CiM they have that medley with the itNoG unison, which is basically flawless, in order to pull that off you need to practice or he is just a bear that runs aimlessly in long island looking for fish

I can imagine that, he should practice more though if he wants to play the new songs clean live. His coordination isn´t that good these days.
