Has anyone elaborated on this addition to the deluxe edition yet ie. the band or label?

Madman Shepherd

Not to my knowledge, and I've been wondering too.

When you win, you will be capable of surviving John Petrucci's Kill-Zone mode.

Only 50 people will be granted the gift of life, everyone else will die.

You guys are taking it too lightly. I think its something extremely important and serious.

Extrapolate. You can probably go to a DT show once per show forever, or maybe every show ever if you really want.

I wonder what the odds of at least one person from DTF getting one of these are.

I agree.  They really do need to explain more what a "ticket for life" means.  That's a main part of the deluxe package.  Does it mean I can take a week off from and follow DT around to every show within 5 hours of my home and attend the shows for free?  Can I pass the ticket to a friends if I can't make a particular show?  Is the ticket transferrable to another person if it were to be bought/sold on eBay?

I heard Dream Theater's going to make a documentary surrounding the process of designing the Ticket For Life. They have 7 designs and out of those 7 designs for the Ticket For Life they will choose their favorite. It will be released in 3 parts and the third episode will unveil the winning design

I heard that the Ticket For Life is gold, and there are 5 of them randomly placed in the boxsets, and if you get one, you get a tour of John Myung's house, which nobody has seen for over 15 years. I've heard it's a place of magic and wonder.

Number of favorable events x 100 / Number of Events = Number of DTF people purchasing the Deluxe Edition x (Number of Tickets For Life)/(Number Of Deluxe Edition Issued) x 100

Do we know how many Deluxe Edition were printed?

A tour of his house, and I'd like to meet his kids. Are they similar to him or are they like Mike Portnoy, loud and crazy.

I'm pretty sure getting a ticket for life means getting killed by soldiers.

But you know that one of the designs is going to get way more airtime than the others. And when discussing a few of the others, they're gonna show some amazing artwork, and then tell us how it's being too loosely interpreted, without actually giving us examples, and then god damn Derek Roddy shows up...........wait...........I'm lost.

Roddy shows up and the camera fails leaving us with the impression he is shit again. That guy can't catch a break.

And than he spoils the winning design for all of us because of his bitter attitude and than he tells us how jealous the other designs were. But you know what, those designs were glad they weren't chosen because being the winning Ticket For Life would have taken them away from what they truly love, being a stock design. And if they were a ticket for life, than they would have to be that 100%
