I'm from Idaho but , might as well start a thread for this show. I was going to do Seattle but...it's too early in the tour for me (I want the lighting/production people to have their shit together).

Come on folks! Put your Book of Mormon down , forget about Mitt Romney and turn off the Fox News Channel! (heh-heh , I tease) It's time to get stoked for the return of DT! Hopefully they'll make it this time (unlike in '06). Oh , and you might want to leave Former Governor Huntsman at home so that he doesn't get booed.

Wife and I will be attending! Glad to see they are stopping in SLC again! They didn't stop here for BCSL tour. Can't wait! Last time they sold out; let's hope everyone will support them. BTW why aren't the local stations supporting this, there is nothing out there! Can't seem to find anyone even mentioning it except for this forum and the DT site. The Ticket sales side seems to be lacking as well. Called the venue to see when they are on sale. Hope they get it together soon!

Ytsejammin

I agree. I can't find it on Kingsburys schedule nor can I find non-VIP ticket info.

SRPDTFan

Kingsbury finally added DT to the list! Come on Friday.

Ytsejammin

Got my ticket today! I'm ORCH row 17 o9r something. Either way , it's going to rock!

Got mine yesterday, up in Loge Section On the edge of center 2nd row. Cant wait! Still disappointed about the Trivium opener! Can't take that screaming stuff. I do like Static impulse but I feel they are better overall. Probably will hang out in lobby during opener buying DT swag

See you there!

Ytsejammin

Got my tick over the weekend. I'm stoked! I also just ordered a bootleg of High Voltage 2011.

Looks like our seats are behind your seats! I am left of center section (between center section and isle) Loge on the edge 2nd row! See you there!

Sweet! Looks like we're getting setlist A! Outcry and Beneath The Surface, my two favorites from ADToE! WOOHOO!  :metal Gonna be a kickass show. I can't help but to think that since they have a break before this show, it's gonna be fantastic and they're going to be well-rested and energetic.

WargMaster

I like both Outcry and BAI.  BAI has the edge for me.  It's going to be a great show either way!

Spitfire

Today's the day! Maybe they'll change the setlist up?

Hope so. Outcry is the one song on the new album I'm not fond of.

Which set list did you guys get? The "A list" (Outcry, Silent Man etc.) ? Any surprises?

Hope you got A, then chances are we get the "B list" here in Chicago on Sunday

It was the A list and WOW was it "A"wesome!! Whichever setlist you see, your in for a real treat! Great production, The band was amazing, they really are happy with things. Myung even gave people high 5's on the opposite side of the stage to the lucky VIP people, so cool to see how energized they were. You even made my wifer a bigger fan of DT! She even bought a tour shirt after the show!!

Thanks DT for thinking of SLC!!!  :hefdaddy

Great show, they were all spot on tonight. James sounded amazing. Very energetic.

Spitfire

Walked home with over $100 in DT merch (Those bastards!) Tickets were wrong, but eh, I can't complain. One very bright light was flashing consistently during Mangini's solo, so it kind of ruined it, but the sound mix was absolutely incredible. Trivishit was horrible, I was in the lobby talking to random DT fans for most of it. The band itself was great, Mangini had some timing issues, he went way off during a part on the beginning of 'The Great Debate'; Rudess put his foot on the platform and stared him down, haha.

Me and my friends somehow found a security breach, and ended up leaning against the DT tour bus, and before we realized what we were even doing, we got escorted. Oops. :P Show was still incredible, everyone sounded great, LaBrie is better then ever, beautiful venue, VERY nice people and great fans, Setlist still isn't my favorite, but hell, it's a DT concert. Me and my friend joked around and made a good group laugh with a few Petrucci bear jokes. :lol I like the 3-cube set-up for the display, very interesting. LaBrie is particularly awesome live.

But yeah, looks as if they're going to be alternating setlists the whole tour. Personally, I'm so happy we got setlist A; Outcry and Beneath The Surface are two of my favorite songs on ADToE.

See you next time, DT!  :metal

Madman Shepherd

Yeah...I'm kinda hoping for setlist A. but doubtful we will get it in Chicago :(

WargMaster

the show was great! Everything sounded great except the Great Debate, it seems to derail partway through or the mix was strange.   In any case, the show was fantastic.  Loved Fatal Tragedy and Under a Glass Moon was off the charts!

Thank for coming to SLC, and we will see you next time!

SRPDTFan

The only comments for change would be the opener and the volume. It was extremely loud! Ears still have a minor ring.... At times it was difficult to hear certain sections clearly. The levels seemed to be set for a larger venue, other than that a surpurb show. Great Debate did appear to have a few minor issues but was still great to see.

Ytsejammin

Amazing!!!!!!!My life is transformed!!!!!!!!!Awesome!!!!!!!!!!Those guys are always worth the drive. The new lineup is incredible! I went through a whole range of emotions during the show. I had trouble comprehending what I'd just seen on the walk out. Absolutely over the top! I made the whole drive back to Boise without stopping. That's how good the show was. Outcry was completely moving. Heck...every single song was a highlight!  I'm so glad I discovered this band!

dongringo

Anyone get any good film footage?

Also, was the Kingsbury sold out? I saw a show there a few years ago. Great venue.

Progmetty

So never the same set list for two consecutive shows. Fingers crossed it stays that way.
