First off, I'd like to say hello to everyone on the forum. While this may be my very first post, I have been following DTF for quite some time and thoroughly enjoy reading what everyone has to say in the world of DT. Anyway, I found this funny error made by JR on YouTube the other day and wanted to share. Looks like he accidentally hit TCOT intro sample at the beginning of ATBoA. Love the crowd's reaction...

PSYCHE!

I'm surprised that sound would even be loaded up. Maybe the sound guys play that particular sound, being a full intro? Either way, kinda funny.

That's the second time that's happened on this tour where TCOT sample played

DarkLord_Lalinc

lol, Jordan having little problems with his new keyboard

SystematicThought

Also, damn, if the light show is DT's and not the festivals, this will be the best DT light show ever

Addy

Are you sure Jordan is the one who hits TCOT intro sample ? I think he doesn't. I mean, I heard this song live twice and as far as I can remember, he was never near his rig when the song was starting. He even was off stage I believe. So I guess that's sound guys job, not his ;)

And it's not the first time such thing happened. During one of the first shows in 2009, when they opened with ITPOE part 1, As I Am ending feedback sample was accidentally played :)

Phoenix87x

Definitely digging the JLB Trench coat, and the light show is incredible.

MetropolisxPt1

more proof that the new album begins where TCOT ends

James is sounding good :)
Very good, I was there and he rocked

I'm starting to think that him having some input into the setlist, compared to MP making them up in the past, is helping his voice.

Seems like no one noticed haha.

Except for, you know, everyone that cheered.

Lowdz

At Leeds the wrong patch was played on JR's keytar- he didn't look pleased that his moment of glory was ruined. It wasn't a soloing sound at all and he gave up and went back to the keyboard.

Steve Baird is a genius. He is around for a couple of tours now as lighting director.

Almost certainly DT's - they've said that this is much of the reason they're keeping a consistent setlist. So that rather than having a library of songs they're showcasing quite well, they've got a set show with lights and bells and whistles that everyone gets to see.

Waitwaitwait.

Just got round to watching the video - is James in a trenchcoat?

Fucking hell, as if he wasn't cool enough already, he comes on-stage dressed as a prog rock detective. Someone buy that man a trilby, stat.

DetonationSequence

Holy shit, James in a longcoat is one of the coolest things I have ever seen!

Jamesman42

I think JLB should wear the trenchcoat no matter what from now on. Whether he comes to my sunny state of oranges in the middle of summer or he's at a wedding.
\o\ lol /o/

Wow. This is cool looking. Looking at the accounts other videos, JR messed up here.

James looks badass as hell, like he's gonna pull out a pair of shotguns from under there.

The funny thing about the video is the guy singing right beside the microphone. He is so off tune its ridiculous.  :lol

Totally agree...this is not triggered by Jordan...is a mistake from the sound guys...

I think that was an octave issue. His octave buttons on his keytar weren't working. He played the unisons anyway but they were like one or two octaves down (Endless Sacrifice), sounded so phat haha
