I think the fact that "The Shaman's Trance" was revealed first and "Bridges In The Sky" second probably means the latter title is right, if you go by CJS' wording on his tweet.

That was the way I read it first, but then I read it again, and decided that actually*, "in fact" implies that what follows is correct. In the same way "actually" did just then. Like, "Superman is in fact just Clark Kent with his glasses off." (Spoilers, there, by the way.)

I think it probably is called Bridges in the Sky, now, but I think the mighty Pirate's tweet implies the opposite, if anything. Which I really like. I love the ambiguity.

Not to ruin the fun, but if it wasn't called BITS!, then he would have said so explicitly. By not denying it's called BITS!, he is thereby agreeing with the new name's spot in place of TST!.

I dont know if it was brought up before, but does this make you think it could be an instrumental, because if it wasnt there'd have to be something in the chorus involving shaman's or bridges so idk it sounds like this could be an instrumental because with an instrumental it could be easier to change the name of a song

It's "Bridges in the Sky."  James said, "TAKE NOTE OF IT," which usually implies something has been changed.  If it were still "Shaman's Trance," he would have said.... "The song is still called Shaman's Trance" or something..... but, most likely wouldn't have added, "TAKE NOTE OF IT," because that wouldn't have been in context since we already have "taken note" of that title already.

Heh, when I heard about the name change I was giggling that the lyrics probably have the phrase "Bridges In The Sky" in the first line. That would follow the style of TCOT / OTBOA quite nicely. Maybe that is even a new DT policy now that the lyric rule is gone?
