Not sure if those are good options(!), or if this has already been done, but I was thinking how excited I was about this song when it came out on Youtube. But at the same time I was worried that I was just loving it because it was new... and I was so excited for something fresh and for something with Mangini.

But the last few days this song has really connected with me. Right now I think it's one of my favorite DT songs; I love everything about it. So now that it's had time to settle and I'm over the hype of having something new, I can definitely say that I love it much more than I did after the first week or so. On another poll I gave it 8/10, but now I'd probably give it a 9. JMO.

(Does anyone know if they will release a uncompressed version for promotion purposes? Or is the version on Youtube all we get until the album release?)

Cheers!

Mebert78

I liked it on the first listen, and it grows on me more and more.  I love it.

More. Maybe its just the fact that my sing-along skills for this song are increasing...

Mladen

I liked it the very first time I heard it, and I listened to it today after a couple of days not playing it - I like it even more now. It's just great.

Zydar

Metabog

The more I listened to it, the more I liked it.

Unchanged.  But I've only listened a few times.  I like it.

Aniland

Mostly unchanged. I mean, I lost the excitement of, "I'M LISTENING TO A NEW DREAM THEATER SONG", but the song is quite good. I hope it isn't the best song on the album, but that's just because DT is terrific and stuff.

Zook

It's gotten better with each listen, but it never blew me away. Nothing I find wrong with the song.

This song keeps moving for me between 8,5 and 9,5 as far as grades like that go. The second day it was out I had already listened to it so many times that it felt like the only song in the world (in a good way). But after the freshness disappeared it resumed being just a good song. After a few days without listening to it I listened to it today again a couple of times and it really amazed me once again.
So I guess it changed and keeps changing, just never reaches a negative point XD.

MarkFitDT

I loved it on the first day and absolutely love it now - listening to it now while I type  :metal

I was trying very hard not to overplay it I've listened to it only about 20 times already and it's still getting better and fortunatelly I don't have the urge to play it all day anymore so it's getting easier to not listen to it too much and still keeping the awesomeness until full album will be out. And I'm really looking forward to see it live.

ML

I liked it, the mix was partly a bit strange (mostly keyboard-wise), but when I saw this great quality video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jh7LhUQUAjM&feature=related I think it works great live, very good!

TheGreatPretender

As far as what I would rate it, that's unchanged. The thing is, the more I listen to it, sometimes I spot things that I'm like, "Well... That's not that good." and sometimes I spot things like, "Wow, that's awesome. I haven't noticed that before!" So it evens itself out.

Heretic

Loved it on first listen, still love it, perhaps even more. Gives me a lot of hope for the album.

TheGreatPretender

The only thing I'd change about it is remove JR's Morphwiz at the beginning. I actually have nothing against the morphwiz, but it's got a very whistlish sound. It's a strong sound, and I can see it being used as a melody or a solo, but it's a little too strong to be used as atmospheric sound, imo.

Psy

I still love it. And those final *twiddly* bits at the end get me everytime.

The Silent Cody

It has hard at the beginning, but now I think it is a great song. Great outro, my favourite part ;)

metropofreak

I like it more than when it came out. Cant really stop listening to it. The song just rocks!

Jaffa

Basically unchanged.  But then, I loved it the first time, so.

perfectchaos180

Less unfortunately :(

I know you guys are going to hate me for saying this but I really can't stand the parts with vocals, the rest of the song is pretty good though

Adami

I've warmed a bit to the piano part, but I still wish JR would be a little more diverse in his piano playing.

At first I was so over-excited that I'd almost be disappointed by anything, because my expectations were so great. At first I though "It's ok I guess.. " but it has really grown on me. At first I didn't really like the chorus, but I like it more the more I listen to it. And now that it's gone some time, I think my expectations was fulfilled to say at least.

MasterShakezula

I still feel the same way.  As in, I'm not hearing a note of it until I actually get my dirty palms on the album.

Really? I love how it gives a nice full atmosphere, I couldn't see it being used as a solo unless it was a slower solo.

I voted more. I liked it to start, originally rated it an 8/10. Then an 8.5/10. Now a 9/10. Don't see it going anywhere beyond that.
