If Wembley was earlier in the tour (and I didn't do this thread!), I might consider it. But there's just so many shows before it.

ibosmiley

Well if they're adding in heavier, maybe something like...

1) Bridges in the Sky
2) Beyond this Life
3) Build Me Up, Break Me Down
4) Hell's Kitchen
Drum Solo
5) 6:00/Lie  (A/B)
6) Outcry
7) The Silent Man/Wait for Sleep (A/B)
8) Beneath the Surface/Far from Heaven (A/B)
9) The Glass Prison
10) Honor Thy Father/A Nightmare to Remember (A/B)
11) Breaking All Illusions
------
12) Take the Time/Pull Me Under (A/B)

the arpeggios in the music sheets at the beginning seriously look something out of Lost Not Forgotten. 90% sure of it.

My thought exactly. And a few seconds later we are shown his samplewiz with the Outcry preset loaded, so we kinda know now that it won't be dropped.  ::)

Lost Not Forgotten to replace On the Backs of Angels is my bet.

Anyone knows why there are clown's clothes in the video? (0:40 mark)

Wonder if there will be clown at the stage...

John94

They are on MMs drum riser. Just part of the "set" like the traffic lights and ants from SC tour.

Would love to see some kind of segue between Trial of Tears/Hell's Kitchen/MM Drum Solo.

Tried to put it into Guitar Pro, and from what I can hear it sounds exactly like the instrumental section of Outcry. I really want them to play LNF though, one of my favorites from the record.

hmm...then maybe not...

Metropolis pt.-1

I'm in a huge conundrum now as to whether or not I should look at any setlists or keep it as a surprise for Wembley. I think I'll give in before then  :P

The Curious Orange

I always look at the setlists, however this time I'm determined not to. Wembley will be a surprise - the first time a setlist has been a total surprise for me since the first time I saw them (1993 - Rock City, Nottingham).

Hoping for a similar setlist to the US one, expecting OTBOA to be cycled out, hoping for Beneath the Surface and The Silent Man, and for whatever else they throw at us. As for LNF, the other 3 long songs on ADTOE are, IMO, better, and I'd rather hear them or something older - I suppose The Killing Hand is too much to ask for, but I can dream, can't I!  :metal :metal :metal

Mladen

I will be surprised if they remove On the backs of angels. Some countries haven't seen the song live yet, it's up for a possible Grammy, and it's the biggest hit on ADTOE.

krands85

I'll be looking at the setlists. If I like the look of them - great, it'll help build the anticipation. If the sets aren't really my cup of tea, then at least I'll know and be prepared for it. Wouldn't want to turn up not knowing, then get a disappointing setlist as it would kind of put a downer on the night for me, even though it shouldn't because it's still DREAM THEATER  :metal
Whoaaaahh, ohhh, ohhhhh. Whoaaaahh, ohhhhh, ohhhhhh. Waaah, ahhh, haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaowwwwww

Ranur5555

They've finally started to played songs with Portnoy-penned lyrics!! So, maybe we can have the opportunity to see The Shattered Fortress alive in the future!!  :metal

dech2410

btw, still no lost not forgotten? I was hoping for that one for the netherlands...

On dt.net there are two stuttgart shows scheduled for feb 13 and feb 15 (differend venues, though). The first one isn't shown on this thread...

Edit: I found out:

"The Stuttgart show has been moved to February 15th, 2012 and will take place at the Hegelsaal. This is located in the same complex as the venue that was previously announced (Liederhalle)."

Still very lame that the website keeps listing the old show as well as the new show in the tour page.  :\

The end of another leg.

I suspect we might see a hybrid setlist for Asia, chosen from the North American and 2nd European leg sets. Perhaps a couple of new additions as well.

ResultsMayVary

The gap is almost as large as the difference between the NA and 2nd Europe legs, so I think we'll see a whole new set of tunes.

Riceball

Any rumblings about Australian dates yet? They are leaving it kind of close...getting nervous...

cyberdrummer

I think the Australian tour will tag on the end of the Asian leg, i.e. in mid-May.

South America might actually be sooner than we think, since the shows are bound to have a great attendance even at short notice, so perhaps towards the end of this month/the beginning of April.

davzdrummer

Anybody here who knows if there is a Meet and Greet package for the Asian Tour?  And how much does it usually cost?  Thanks, guys! :)

TAC

With the 6/16 Quebec City show posted, and Mangini stating that he's doind clinics in July and August, does anyone think we'll get some additional June dates here soon? It's really not that far away.
Quote from: wkiml on June 08, 2012, 09:06:35 AMwould have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Quote from: Stadler on February 08, 2025, 12:49:43 PMI wouldn't argue this.

I think we'll see some Australia and South America dates in the end of May or June, and then a US run in August and September and then they'll write a new album.
