Which of these songs do you like most?

Infinite Cactus

Constant Motion. I love that instrumental section.

A Rite of Passage. The chorus, intrumental section before the solo, and the guitar solo rule.

nikatapi

A rite of passage, with I walk beside you as a close second.

Constant Motion. I love that instrumental section.

This. And the main riff is great too

I think I'll have to go with Constant Motion.

A Rite Of Passage for me, it's a catchy tune. I Walk Beside You an easy second. Constant Motion is the worst DT song to ever make an album IMO, in general I would actually say that the song is really bad. CM and Raw Dog are two DT songs that should never have seen the light of day the way I see it. The rest of their catalog is great.

Metrovarium

AROP, followed by CM, followed by IWBY. I like CM as an individual song rather than in the context of the entire album, I like IWBY in the context of the album rather than as an individual song, and I like AROP both ways.

jammindude

I Walk Beside You hands down.

It might be simplistic...but I just find it to be FAR less cheesy than CM, and more memorable than AROP.

mittinagus

I walk beside you by far...

Tin

tgstk2

Why is i walk beside you in this list?

Thats dt trying to be a pop/u2 cover/clone AROP by farrrrr

Vajra

I'm not much of a fan of any of them, but if I had to pick a song I guess I'd go with AROP.

Also, CM is a fun song to listen to, but from an artistic perspective I've always found it kind of weak. What really suprised me was how much I loved this song live. My first time seeing DT was during their SC tour, and they opened te show with CM. I was blown away by how great it sounded live, it was the highlight of both DT shows I've seen, alongside Endless Sacrifice (the heavy section) and ITPOE.

Global Laziness

My order (and ranking compared to DT's full catalogue):

39   Constant Motion
75   A Rite of Passage
86   I Walk Beside You

LieLowTheWantedMan

Constant Motion is a top 15 song for me, so that.

Pols Voice

I Walk Beside You without a doubt.

Jamesman42

Constant Motion because of dat guitar solo.

Pretty hard to pick otherwise, though.

Constant Motion for sure. Even though it's been played much more frequently live as of recently, it's still a great song. I love the instrumental section as well as JLB and MP's vocal tradeoffs.

Jordan's solo with the bebot ruined AROP for me. I dread listening to that part; the rest of song is great though.

With regards to IWBY, I never really cared for the song.

Constant Motion. I love the riff played in the bridge and the chorus is awesome.

Why so high? Not criticising your taste, but I always thought of it as being a Metallica song that was never good enough to go on an album...

Fun song though, I'll give it that.

FlyingBIZKIT

Neither of them are among my favorites ...but if I had to pick...constant motion.

None of them are great, but I don't hate them either.  And honestly, they're all about on par with each other IMO.

It seems to get just a little bit of hate around here, but I actually really really like I Walk Beside You. I didn't at first, and it was arguably my least favorite track on Octavarium. However, after a while it grew on me, a lot, and now I think it's fantastic. :metal

I do understand that. It's funny cause I hate Metallica.

But for me, it's just a song where everything seems to work. Every riff, the chorus is really, really good, and the instrumental section is very entertaining. The guitar solo is amazing and the drumming during the guitar solo almost equals it.

?

None of those is spectacular, but AROP is the best.

Mladen

Constant Motion

Great song. Too bad it doesn't work live...

ariich

AROP just edges out CM.

IWBY is fairly meh.
