Great day yesterday! Priest were incredible! Rich found us somehow, was a very cool guy, and hope to find him again today. Looking forward to dream theater so much

ariich

Hell yeah! I replied to your facebook post with my mobile number.

I didn't really know what to expect from Priest but they were really good. I knew hardly any of the songs though, so think it was still best that I left early to beat the rush. None of that tonight though, I'm not missing any DT!

Wow, it's a third show in a row - I hope that won't have an effect on LaBrie's voice...

John94

Anyone know if it will be on SkyArts like last year? I remember the headliners being on a special hour long show.

The Silent Cody

The show starts in 10 minutes in there was no curfew of course ;) Thumbs up for DT !! They will headline this fest like hell  :metal

The Silent Cody

Under a Glass Moon
These Walls
Forsaken
Endless Sacrifice
Drum Solo
(Mike Mangini)
The Ytse Jam
Peruvian Skies
The Great Debate
On the Backs of Angels
Caught In A Web
Through My Words
Fatal Tragedy
The Count of Tuscany
Learning To Live

The setilst.fm says it was like this ;) I don't know, I think that Dream Is Collapsing was there too, but it was just not mentioned ;)

IdoSC

I just love what they do with LTL and Metropolis. I hope they'll rotate other songs like that too (not too frequently of course, but let's say, another Awake song being rotated with Caught in a Web could be awesome).

The Silent Cody

I predict that if They will have one song to rotate as an encore on this leg of tour - it could be Pull Me Under.

Roadrunner UK posted this setlist from High Voltage earlier. It says set A at the top. My guess at how it works is that they have set A (LTL in the encore), Set B (TCOT encore) and Set C (Metropolis encore) and are rotating the three setlists as supposed to rotating songs.

wasteland

Full lenght set on a festival date?  :omg:

That means that tonight is the virtual peak of this first leg, as I thought it would be...

jonny108

My god. They were amazing! James was on fire, myung was incredible, mangini was out of this world! Just phenomenal!!!

Completely agreed with this, the band were brilliant! Mangini is an absolute beast!

Despite being a festival show, I'd have to say tonight was the best out of the three (Leeds, Wolves and London). Learning to Live was euphoric - and James nailed it.

absolutely!!!!
and I still can't believe that I was in the front row.... pointed at by LaBrie and eye contact with Petrucci and Rudess!
... I still feel like I was in a dream..... the best gig ever.... surreal....
I can't wait for the album tour now!!!!

Arch Benemy

Oh Gawd

Oh Gawd that was good

Too drunk for more words right now, but just damn

The Silent Cody

In friday morning I'll be posting things like You now Guys. Jeeee, I have to drive across whole whole country because I live by the sea, on north side of Poland, and Katowice are totally opoosite, exactly at the other end of Poland and I have 600 km to go ;)

tri.ad

So they played Learning To Live? That probably means that they won't play it in Vienna. Oh well.

Good for you that you had the chance to see it, though. :tup

Probably means that They will not play it in Katowice, because there will be Metropolis  ;D

metropofreak

That was a phenomenal gig. So glad I have finally seen DT live! It only took seven years :P

Being at the front row was awsome too, and I have to say everybody nailed all of their parts. JLB was particualry impressive (as was MM of course).

obscure

Awesome....  he can't be human... must be of another kind.... very Dream Theater!

jonny108

What a weekend! DT were just incredible(pictures coming shortly) and nice to see you around Rich!

To be honest, if they hadn't played it last night I would have been a tad annoyed, having got Metropolis the last two nights (not a bad thing in itself of course!).

John94

I hope they show Learning to Live on the Sky programme. It could be the long awaited high quality recording of the F#.

TAC

Quote from: wkiml on June 08, 2012, 09:06:35 AMwould have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Quote from: Stadler on February 08, 2025, 12:49:43 PMI wouldn't argue this.
