Actually he's said most of his stuff is based on books he's reading, too. I'm pretty sure Profits of War is based on a book he's specifically mentioned.

I recall reading that MP would read around here every now and then. Don't know about the other members except when JP checked the thread we had going on when he was doing a Q&A on his forum. He likes us.

I've always wondered about the way DT record JLB's vocals. On the in-the-studio footage he always seems to be singing one line at a time rather than singing a full verse or chorus. Is this how they do all the vocals? That doesn't sound like the best way to get a great performance with feeling, but what do I know?
having said that, the great man is awesome and I am a staunch supporter of the Cap'n.
