Getting a little nostalgic today...

After cleaning out the inbox to the email account I used in the mid to late 90's, I found a bunch of old 'Ytsejam Digest' emails.  I haven't been active in the online DT-fan community for probably 8 or 9 years or so (aside from lurking around here, JP.com & MP.com) & uncovering these emails brought me back to the good old days.

Just out of curiosity, are there any members here who used to contribute to these email chains (long before the days of internet message boards, etc.)?  Is it still around?

I still remember how cool it felt to influence Dream Theater to record the studio version of ACOS.  For a kid in junior high school at the time to feel a part of something that big was absolutely incredible.  The band even thanked 'all the YtseJammers' for helping make the ACOS EP possible (By showing EastWest Records that there was a huge demand for it).

Cheers,

Compadre

I was on that way back when. I don't think I ever unsubscribed from it. I think it just kind of died.

I was there as well....

Was able to get several Mike Bahr bootlegs from there...and also a couple of the t-shirts that were made (purple version).  Man...I wore those things out!

I subscribed back then but I wasn't all that active.

Still have all of the Bahr boots and I sometimes wonder whatever happened to that guy.
