I made this thread as some kind of an antithesis to RG93's one. Is there a DT song that is hated/not very liked among DT Fans that you actually like?

Mine are Forsaken, Burning my Soul and Space-Dye Vest. They don't seem to be very liked around here :P

Sacrificed Sons
Never Enough
Anna Lee(not sure about the masses general opinion of this one)
The Dark Eternal Night
The Ministry of Lost Souls

Adami

Space Dye Vest
Constant Motion
Repentence

I am a big fan of the two softer songs there, and like the CM quite a bit, minus the chorus.

IIRC, it's not that memorable amongst a vast majority of the fan base. If you ask me, it's DT's best ballad. I absolutely adore Anna Lee.

RG93

*cough* Aniland's? *cough*

OT:
The Answer Lies Within
Sacrificed Sons
In The Name of God
Vacant
A Nightmare To Remember
New Millennium

MykeHavoc

Space Dye Vest
Burning My Soul
The Answer Lies Within
Never Enough
Sacrificed Sons
This Dying Soul
Pull Me Under (most hardcore fans say they're sick of it, but I still love it)

How about Take Away My Pain and Just Let Me Breathe? I dig those, but I'm not sure if others do.

Pretty sure most people like ITNOG and Vacant, and probably New Millennium.

The reason I mentioned those three is because Vacant and New Millennium hardly get any recognition, and some people hate ITNoG's instrumental section.

orcus116

I think Pull Me Under is just under the "duh" status which is why no one really talks about it.

Endless Sacrifice
Honor Thy Father
As I Am
The Shattered Fortress
Constant Motion
Raw Dog

to name a few.  All would make my top 50, with some even making the top 20.

Ha, no.  But the three from ToT that I listed are, so you have permission to make fun of me there.

Forsaken

Honor Thy Father is pretty bitchin'.

I don't think it's necessarily unpopular, but it certainly seems to be a great deal unrecognized.  I am surprised every time someone posts a top 50 without it.  It's almost like they forgot.

Occasional_Madman

The Ones Who Help To Set The Sun. I don't think I've seen it mentioned once on this forum. But for whatever reason, I love it. I love the keys in the intro with JMX's harmonics. Very lush and dreamy.

tri.ad

Light Fuse And Get Away
I Walk Beside You (it's a very good live tune, surprisingly)
Vacant
To Live Forever (not that it's disliked that much, but it doesn't seem to get much recognition here)

Both of these. I absolutely love both of them (Light Fuse being my favourite from WDADU)

Adami

As far as I know, TLF is universally loved.

I used to spam IWBY like no other.  One of the few DT songs with an entirely positive vibe.  It's very uplifting.

orcus116

The Great Debate is awesome. Yeah it's got that Tool vibe but they utilize it so well plus their attempt at political lyrics is well balanced and actually delivers a thoughtful message.

Probably going to see all the same songs here as in the "Popular DT songs you don't get"... pretty much every song is popular / not-so-popular with certain people.

Zydar

I Walk Beside You
Status Seeker
Anna Lee
You Not Me

Also all other songs mentioned here.

Actually I like all DT songs, just some a bit less.

My biggest problem with this thread is - define "not so popular". I have a fair share of rarely played DT songs I'd love to see regularly in their sets, but if people mention "Endless Sacrifice" in this thread, then my list isn't going to end.

YtseBitsySpider

When Dream And Day Unite.

yes the whole album.
It's where my DT journey began..and it holds a very special place for me. It sits as their 3rd best album for me behind I&W and Scenes. If the production was better, it might be number one. On no other cd is Mike's drumming so raw and fresh. Charlie's vocals are mesmerizing...like he's crying while singing.....so much emotion. Kevin Moore's keys are perfect....like Myung...you can hear him and not hear him at the same time. Brilliance.

Have I made this thread before? I feel like I did. Otherwise, if that's not what you meant, I'm at a loss.

I LOVE You Not Me, as well as being a big sucker for Innocence Faded. Other songs I like which most don't seem to go crazy over include Burning My Soul, Take Away My Pain, The Answer Lies Within, and In the Presence of Enemies pt. 2.
