I'm with tick, and this is common knowledge.  The instrumental section of Innocence Faded is very, very Dixie Dregs.  And if you don't listen to them, fix that crap right now.

NO LOCK!
Innocence faded sounds like The Dregs, NOT Rush!

Definitely with you on this one tick.

Anyone who disagrees or don't know the dregs check this NOW!

Tick, did you listen to the part of Red Barchetta? I can't possibly understand how you don't see it.
I know the part your talking about but a alot of DT sounds like other bands. I just don't IF sounds that Rush like. BUT I know the two parts you think do. Would it please you if I just agreed with you?

I like rush.  :hat
Me too! I have seen them in concert 38 times!

Thank you Hef! Dregs indeed rule!

tick, yes, you're right.  I completely agree with you.  It does sound very Steve Morse-esque and Dregs-ish.
Thanks Snake! The guitar wreaks of Steve, and the arrangement of that part of the song screams Dregs!

Excellent Wolfy!
I have seen Steve Morse live 3 or 4 times, and man can he play! He is very understated. Yes, many know how great he is, but overall, too many do not, and that is a crime!

Yeah, I'm with you, he's named as one of the best and is well known, but at the same time does seem to get overlooked, very weird.

You are a lucky bastard. I'd love to see him live just once, I missed him with Purple last time, but I'd love to see a clinic of his, he is amazing.  I really loved his work with Living Loud also, the band with Lee and Bob from Ozzy's band and Aussie legend Jimmy Barnes, that was a sensational album.

I saw him once with Kansas in 86. I saw him open for Rush as Steve Morse band in the late 80's. I also saw him in a small New Haven CT. club. I was about 10 feet from him the whole night.

Okay, you can shut up now.  :lol

Seriously that's amazing.  Steve Morse band was magic also.

Sixtease

Reminds me of the last DT show I saw. I was as close to JP as it got. Warm, intimate feeling. But I couldn't hear anything but his guitar from his amp wall of mass destruction. Poor JR, I thought they skipped his solo, for real. :-)
