I get anxiety attacks... semi often... not too bad.... and thats not the question. The question is is it wierd that when one occurs, my first reaction is to listen to Panic Attack... and i calms me down?

Are there any DT songs that do something to you like that?

When I feel perfectly fine yet sometimes chaotic, my first reaction might be to put on Systematic Chaos, when I do I get depressed and sick and vomit and therefore more chaotic.

OP, I'm sure John Petrucci would love to hear this. Tweet him.

I have a few songs like that but they're not DT. One of them is Primavera by Ludovico Einaudi. And that's solely because there was this chick who I had sex with one night and then never more and it was the best sex I've ever had, extremely strong experience, and that song played and it created an association in my head. So every time I have an attack of craving for seeing her again, I listen to that song... and it gets worse. :-)

Good one. :D

A friend of mine who gets Panic Attacks says the same thing. She's not a huge Dream Theater fan, but she said they did an AMAZING job at conveying what having one is like with that song.
