It suddenly dawned on me that JP hasn't been clean shaven in any pictures since about 1993 or so. My question is: What is the most recent picture of John Petrucci without a beard or goatee?

I think he just likes having a goatee. I've had mine for years, I never shave it off.

I think if he shaved now, JMX wouldn't be the only one without facial hair now that JLB is growing his goatee out! I think they want to keep JMX as the only clean-shaven man in the band at this point... it makes him look as young as he did back in the early 90's, thus adding to his supernatural immortality...

I dunno about JP, but James shouldn't shave his beard no matter what. He looks so badass these days, and growing the beard is the best thing that ever happened to him in terms of showmanship.  :)

Also, anyone noticed that JP was right at the begining? He said it was gonna suck, and it didn't turn out that well?
