I don't see why anyone would be bothered. I don't like that it's North America only but I think that it's great news for DT.

How could anyone be bothered?  Don't want to see it?  Then don't.  There was going to be no summer tour at all, now there is, as support for Maiden.  It's no skin off the nose of anyone who isn't into Maiden, as DT wouldn't have toured at all, otherwise.

Bothered? No. This is a great thing for Dream Theater. Great exposure, and the chance of a lifetime to play with one of the bands that influenced them.

If they were actually coming near me, I probably wouldn't go see them, just because I don't like Iron Maiden, and I would rather not see Dream Theater opening for them during what could be my first DT concert.
