Just an FYI note on Linkin Park: the album will be out in the second half of 2010 at the earliest.  A release date for this year is still by and large unconfirmed.

Also, a new Sevendust album is expected some time in April, and Adema and Evanescence in the vague future (i.e. this year or next).

no time right now to  transcribe an update, but as I may have posted in another thread,
here's the calendar/list I am keeping (alphabetical by artist name)
https://rateyourmusic.com/list/SoundscapeMN/2010_anticipation

89 artists name/releases on there, although some are pure speculation, others are more certain.
I'll try and edit or reply later with a more accurate calendar of dates/week-of-releases.

Nevermore is releasing their album The Obsidian Conspiracy this year. The rumored date is April 1st, but for now I think it's safe to assume it's just a rumor.
I felt its length in quite a few places.

I suppose it would be unreasonable to only allow good music to be listed in the thread.

Ulver will most likely be releasing another full length this year   As quoted from their website, from a post on the 22nd of November 2009 "Down to earth, below the Acropolis: We are painfully aware of the passing since Shadows. It's time to get another Ulver proper out, and we have started to write. Our own dark brand." Very much looking forward to it
they are also planning a collaboration with Sun O))) to be released sometime this year so that will definitely be interesting.
